Happy New Year everyone and welcome new members!

I know I haven't posted in forever, but I've been doing other things, I'm really sorry. But, I made 6 new icons that are Outlander/Dragonfly in Amber related in regard to the Battle of Culloden and Bonnie Prince Charlie, for you military enthusiasts. Another one is sort of A Breath of Snow and Ashes related of an American colonial 18th century man with a long gun. He's not Jamie, but it gives you an idea of what the gun was like - they were long! All books by Diana Gabaldon and her Outlander Series.

Update: I've since posted some Colin Firth icons from Mamma Mia and 2 Ralph Fiennes - help yourself!

About future icon posts, I really need some inspiration, I don't normally do this, but if anyone has any requests at all of icons, any kind, post your request and I'll see what I can do. I got the DVD for Mamma Mia, so I can do anything in that now. I hope this can get me out of my icon rut.

I saw the movie "Atonement" last week - finally! I've made a few more icons from it. I also have 6 icons from one hilarious scene from the movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" from the 1960's, starring Ethel Merman and Dick Shawn, among a cast of the greatest comedians of the 60's - if you haven't seen it, go see it, I think it's one of the funniest movies ever made!

Today is my two year anniversary of when I first began my icon journal! I feel like I've come a long way since then, (I shudder at some of my earliest attempts at icon making - ick!) I've got 13 kitschy Highland Romance Book Cover icons, culled from various covers I found on the net. They may not be Jamie Frasers but you can't get enough Scottish warriors in kilts, ye ken? LOL They are all textless, but if anyone has a request for me to add some text to any, feel free to ask. I don't normally do this, but I will take requests this one time.

When I was 12 years old, I read GWTW over and over for the next two years in one continuous, neverending loop, over 14 times in that period. I was obsessed with the book and movie. Well, I just read it over again, 30 years later - and I loved it just as much as ever, if not more. I had to make a small batch of icons, mostly of Scarlett - but I could scream! I can't find my GWTW DVD - it's lost! I'm devastated I can't find it, but it has to turn up, when I do find it, I'll make more of the mood type icons. I had already made some caps from before, but to tide me over, I have also used some caps by dj_capslock Enjoy! I just finished reading Hotspur last night and then watched the DVD and took some caps - hence the icons. They're pretty Ioan-centric, but I have a few of Mr. Bush too - can't forget him!
