A whole lot has happened since my last entry, and not all I can post or feel like talking about here. I would just like to thank the few of you who know and gave me the support I needed.
My prelims are done with, and I feel really bad about it. C'est la vie, it's over and I am not going to keep on harping about it.
Moving on to happier things, I tend to channel my energy into being productive when I am feeling down, so I have actually been pretty productive as of late, even if I have to say so myself.
Went out yesterday with Yun to do up a tutorial on Monoxious, pics under the cut!

I have also been doodling again lately, as a bid to help me de-stress. I draw only for fun, and I do not think of myself as being good or anything. It's just one of my interests.

Holy crap, it really has been too long since my last update. Apologies to everyone, I have my hands full with Monoxious, (Although we don't actually post enough....) But nevermind that.
A lot of things have been going on, and a lot of pictures have been taken, but I really could not find the time nor the energy to edit and upload all of them. Here are a few choice ones, anyway.

Today was the day when a fuckload of things just exploded.
Long story short I was supposed to meet someone today but ended up being late.
This is exactly the reason why I don't really like going out after school. You never know if you are going to be held up by stupid shit, but when you did, I think it is a valid excuse? I don't know what warranted that hissy fit you gave me. Yes, I am sorry for being late but it wasn't as if I failed to mentioned it to you? I was fucking cabbing down when you threw that temper tantrum, seriously. I really think you need to act your fucking age sometimes.
I am done with this bullshit. If this is the way our friendship is going to end, so be it. |

It's quite siansational when you have a journal you know you should update, only to sit in a stupor in front of the computer for hours, thinking of what to write while distracting yourself with bad bollywood movies from the '90s in the meantime. It is always here that I realized that what I thought was a semblance of a social life was in fact just a figment of my admittedly overactive imagination, and that I am really not cool at all. Oooooh revelation.
Since my narrative serves no purpose at all as my wit is drier than chouchou's vagina (which must be really dry, for she is neutered afterall), I shall let pictures do most of the sayin' for your voyeuristic indulgences.

I do not have any pictures of delicious chinese new year tidbits to show, so here's something even better: The stove at my Granny's house.
I really do mean it when I say that I am leaving civilization. We still cook with firewood, all chopped up and ready to use right beside the stove. Primitive, yes, but it produces the best food ever.
P.S. See that bowl of eggs on the stove? That's fresh from the coops right outside the window. Also, the neighbour's cat loves to sneak in and lie atop the stove after it's been used and is all toasty and such. The chickens don't really appreciate the cat's presence, but I don't think it cares too much. |

My hair's way too thick and heavy to be comfortable in this climate, plus it has taken on the colour and texture of hay. So on impulse, off with it! I am sure I'll miss my long-ass hair sometime down the road, but there's no regret at all. I am so glad it's gone now. ♥
The amount of hair on the floor makes me suspect I haven't evolved from a neanderthal yet. |

We laid ourselves down in a field in total darkness tonight to watch a meteor shower. It was around 11°C outside and the wind was howling. The ground was soggy, the darkness oppressing. My digits were all numb.
But none of those matter at all.
Close to a hundred of them fall all at once, some streaking from horizon to horizon, some quietly burning out.
It really is one of those moments frozen in time which remains indelible in your mind forever.
Beautiful. Just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. |

...Simply because I procrastinate. Plus, it is confusing because despite being made up of 31 colleges all in all, every college simply refers to itself as "University of Cambridge". And this really makes naming pics a nightmare. /rant  aside, here comes (a very, very minor portion of) the picspam!

Finally got this little girl to settle down for long enough to snap a pic of her! I think she habours evil intentions towards the dollies - I caught her this morning sleeping on top of the box instead of her usual place on my bed. And when I was restringing Seth, she sat down beside me and kept pawing my arm. I guess she likes to have our full attention when she demands it and cannot stand anything else sharing the attention with her! |
