12:15 am	FELIZ DIA DEL AMIGO soo... I'm actually posting again.. and i'm surprised! wow today i woke up.. hung out... went to play tennis with my dad and brother, ben was mocking me playing tennis and even though i pretended to be mad at him, it was pretty funny! then, i went to christine's graduation party (a little late for a grad party) with julia. then went home, the whole fam was there for dinner, but i went to see Thoroughly Modern Millie at the Arundel Barn Playhouse because Christine was in it and it was wicked good! my pictures are still up from Annie and Annie Get Your Gun, and it made me really sad that I'm not doing theatre anymoreee as much :-((( and i saw grayson! which was very exciting because i haven't seen him in ages now i'm home in my bed... procrastinating my summer work.. a lot (1 Comment |Comment on this)

12:48 pm	Summertime I don't ever write here, and I don't know if I ever will, but I will attempt it So, I got back from Sweden/Denmark and it was great. Nina got on my nerves towards the end, but it's okay. We had a 6 hour delay in Iceland, so Icelandic Air brought us to the Blue Lagoon for free! It was soo cool. Now I'm home, babysitting, and making the big bucks, I am babysitting really rich tourists and it's actually enjoyable. I babysat 5 (older) kids for 5 hours on their beautiful house directly on the ocean, and we just hung around walked on the beach, played taboo, and watched tv and I made $120!! I was also asked to nanny these younger boys for next summer, which is nice to have that job lined up. I hung out with Amelie and went to the beach with the brothers and around the port. Then I've been playing tennis, went to the yacht club last night and had dinner with the Jensens to plan our family vacation next year. Then last night I hung out with Maggie and we just drove around for a long time and talked. I miss Andrea (my exchange student from Mexico) sooo much, it's really lonely around the house without her. She became my sister, but I know that we will always be in contact. I hope everything is well with everyone else! (1 Comment |Comment on this)

5:35 pm	calculus Hi, I have an annoying question. Does anybody know of any LJ communities or someplace online that I can get help with specific calculus problems? 2:50 pm	I go home in 1 month! and I have to admit that I am very happy, but I'll be sad to leave everyone also. There are SO many people I want to see when I go home and things I want to do and food I want to eat, haha. I´ve been hanging out with more of a variety of people which is nice, last night I ate and hung out with the girls in 3º, and it was so fun, we ate empanadas yummmmmmmmm and then walked around through the center and went in moto, hahah. Classes are finished! So it´s summer which is weird.. I have to try hard not to think about Christmas there, because uhh it makes me sad I wont be there, and its stressful thinking of all the stuff I have to buy for people, because there is NOTHING here. 3:55 pm	argentina okay, this is going to be confusing, cause its hard to explain everything. okay, so i´m in argentina with afs. i live with a family with 4 girls in Porteña, a small town in the middle of the country with nothing but farms, 5000 people or less. i come here, and it´s really exciting for them because, they´ve never had an exchange student in their town, and the fact that I´m 16, from the United States, and that I´m really blonde and stick out a ton. At first everybody was constantly talking to me, asking me questions, wanting to sit with me, blah blah blah. Oh yeah, we have cursos, which is a class with about 25 kids your age that you have all your classes with all day, they´ve all been in the same class since they were 3. I still get a lot of attention from kids in the other classes, constantly calling out "EMMA!" and "whasho name?" because thats all they can say in english. When I came here I had a thing with AFS in buenos aires for about 4 days, with all the other exchange students. SO, I come to find out that my family is SUPER religious, goes to church about 4 days a week, so thats really intense for me. And I really disagree with a lot of the things they say, and they make me angry. The mom thinks that halloween is SOO evil, and she cringes every time the word is said, but thats just kind of funny for me. Oh and she also thinks boys are seriously evil, and her kids aren´t allowed to have boyfriends until they´re 20, seriously though, and she got married when she was 19. My sisters are SO different, and have such distinct personalities, you can just stick a sterotype to them and it fits in with everything. Giselle- 16, shes not the sister in my class, goody two-shoes. Always studying, always playing flute, playing piano, doesn´t have many friends at school but is friendly and kind to everyone, always helps out at the school, but really nice, sweet, but quiet. Valeria-15, in my class, bitch. She´s always so short and cold with everyone and always has a puss on her face. I try talking to her, but shes just so cold. But, she reminds me a lot of Hilary in the way that when she is in a good mood, which is INCREDIBLY rare, she is so fun to be around, but when shes moody (all the time) she sucks the life out of everything. Unfortunately for me, shes in my curso. Carolina-13, caya (spanish word for someone whos just really annoying, and pesty), but so sweet and nice. Shes always coming into my room, and screaming at really really high volumes just to bother me/anybody whos around. But sweet, I love hanging out with her, and all of her friends are also so cute and nice to me. Cintia-spoiled brat. She cries AT LEAST 4 times a day, and holy hissy fit crying. If one of the sisters needs the computer for homework, and she wants to play games, she´ll start balling, or if shes wearing a dirty shirt, and her mom tells her to change it , she starts balling, nobody says anything about this, she is 7 years old. The dad favors her soooo much. But shes sooo cute, that everyone loves her. So in my curso Valeria has her little group of 9 girls in total. They are really cliquey, and I was told from day 1 that they were to be my friends. They talk shit about everyone, got in a huge fight with this one girl in my curso named Mayra, and now are total bitches to her. They´re also fighting with all the girls in the curso two higher than us. Sabrina, Valerias best friend, is the ringleader and the biggest dominating bitch ever. This group is known around town for being bitches and stuck-up. They hate it when I hang out with anybody else, even if it´s just Carolina and her friends. But, Sabrina isn´t particularly nice to me anymore, because I´m no longer the new girl, shes just bitchy, and they always kind of leave me to the side. But I like the other girls in my class too. Oh yeah, boys and girls just can´t be friends here, its weird, I sat down next to this kid in my class to help him with english, and everyone suddenly thought I was in love with him, hahaha. So, I have yet to see any other AFS kids , and I´m feeling pretty alone, without any contact. I tell my parents, they talk to AFS. 2 Nights ago 2 afs people call, Laura just screams at me the entire time, becuse supposedly there were 2 AFS things, and she thought that I just didn´t want to go, but I was never informed of them. Then Diego tells me I´m going to stay at the house of a girl from Germany for the weekend, he is much nicer than Laura. I call my parents to tell them what happened, my mom wants me to write a nasty email to Laura, I said I wasnt going to do this, she hangs up. I was upset, because Valeria was particularly bitchy lately. School yesterday'ç- I was just kind of upset and sad, and we had a farm class. The teacher was putting us in groups, and she said I could be with Valeria, and Sabrina got pissed, the whole class ends up arguing, I´m just sitting there looking upset, because yeah. This one girl Gisella, whos not in the group, goes and tells the teacher that Sabrina and Valeria are always mean to me, and tehy´ll just leave me aside if I´m in their group, so she puts me in a group with Belén and Luciana, which I am happy about. The teacher comes over to talk to me, and starts asking me questions, me being the crier that I am, start BALLING, because shes asking so much. The ENTIRE curso surrounds me, and talks to me, well the teacher the majority of the time, Sabrina says that its hard for them too, not just me, which is bull because, they dont have to be my friends, and its not hard to let somebody in, Gisaellla, lets her know of this and gets pissed, then the principal comes in and starts talking too, its all good, I¨m crying, everyones nice. The teacher asks if I want to go and talk to her alone, an dLuciana goes with me, I tell hwer about Valeria okay i gotta go now cause i´m going to san francisco i´ll try to update this later. 8:34 pm	sneaking out what is the best way to sneak out? for about a whole weekend, if you don't have a car? well I live in Maine, and my friend and I want to go to Boston next weekend, with her mom, she live's with her aunt (long story) but her aunt won't let her, and my mom probably wouldn't either? any good ideas. because I need them. bad.
