POST CONCERT PARTY! [29 Jul 2005|09:34pm] Hi dancers! I hope i gave you ample time for ur bruises to recover. Sajc dance alumni will resume business asap, and to kickstart a whole new year ahead, we're going to have a post concert party @ my place. Time and date to be confirmed, so please keep a lookout for more details. Also, it is about time we hold an AGM regarding the running of the alumni, as we tackle even bigger audiences and venues as time goes by. As such, there is talk about holding one soon. This is not only for those who did concert 05, but for every ex Sajc dancer that ever existed.This is a very important time for alumni as we reflect on concert 05 as well as planning for concert 06. On a less serious note, concert was a blast. Think i haven't made this very clear, but i love you all, and i'm sure the school loves us too. i want to thank each and everyone of you, on behalf of the choreographers, for taking time out of ur busy schedule to be part of this special group. despite those frantic turns, we pulled through. love, dewi i♥dance

to all dancers.. [11 Jul 2005|11:46pm] [ mood | apathetic ] Hi all... Latest update from Zaki.   Zaki wishes to to have a full techical run of ALL items this coming Sunday Afternoon at SAJC dance studio.   So yeapz.. all dancers who are involved in the alumni items MUST turn up for Sunday's tech run. Any absentism will NOT be tolerated by Zaki as he needs to see the item in it's entirety. So please make yourself free.     On a personal note: I know that you all are tired and stressed out from the constant rehearsals. Your bodies are probably screaming from all that torture. But our performance is only just next week. and we do not want to produce a SUBSTANDARD item rite???? -grinz- Yeapz... so to all my dear dancers, let's just push ourselves and work really hard till the end of next week... and everything will be over! Sorry for the Confusion [11 Jul 2005|12:08pm] [ mood | blank ] Hi everyone. Sorry for the confusion. Here is the detailed breakdown of what is happening on Saturday 16th July. 12pm at NUS will be Hui's rehearsal. Then we will be laeving NUS at 3pm to reach SA by 4. Once at SA, we will take one and half hours to cleanup/block/run through my item. Since mine's the biggest cast, we are startng with mine first. Glen's will commence at 5.30. Then 2 hours later of his cleanup and run through, we will do Dewi's. It's an intensive this Saturday because if you haven't realised, the concert would be exactly 6 days away from that Saturday. So do sense just a tiny bit of the urgency and come down. I know we are all sick and burdened and fainting and feverish but please remember, we got ourselves into this, so we just have to commit. No shortcuts, no compassino. Just die die must dance till we get a smashing good show. Yes? i♥dance

Rehearsal TODAY! [11 Jul 2005|09:57am] Hi girls, Rehearsal today at 8pm.I will start blocking at 8pm. (coz shirps is back!) BUT i need you guys to be there at 7 to run thru blocking as well as to learn steps. A lot of you still aren't sure of your steps, aren't hitting the accents, and are rushing through steps.REMEMBER!suspend suspend suspend!(jess,sandra and candice pls take note)...and the nitty gritty stuff like unpointed feet (gasp!) and not spotting while turning.
