I'm a bit behind but: The concert was made of win. The waiting an hour before outside in the cold and the rain and yuck wasn't so fun, but it was totally worth it. He played a fantastic mix of brand new stuff from "Way to Normal" to stuff all the way back from the early days of Ben Folds Five. I managed to resist the siren's call of expensive T-Shirts and other phat loots.
Egg stealing update: Today makes eight days of evening injections and 4 days of morning injections. It pretty much sucks. The evening injections aren't so bad, but the Menopur+Ganirelix in the morning leaves a big red blotchy area and hurts for a good while after I get it. I even have a bruise from one of them ;_;
My right ovary (the one they did the surgery on) is feeling ok, but that's because it's only making 2 eggs that they can see, so it's not very swollen. My right, however, is swollen and painful when I walk.
As much as this process sucks (Discomfort, Dr appointments ALL THE TIME at inconvenient times, NEEDLESZOMG, I look like a junkie with tracks in both arms from all the blood they've been taking) it's still cool to be helping out with this.
It's also not so horrible that I'm not considering doing it for cash in the future. I'm not exactly in one of the super niche desired groups (I'm just a generic white girl with nothing special) it'd still be a decent sum of money that we could put towards a down payment on a house.
We got to dress up at work for Halloween so I'm wearing my Alice costume ^_^ I ought to get some newer pictures in it since my hair is a better length and all that.
