I drew quite some feathers for my Twitter background. Yup, I have a Twitter profile now! You can follow me here :) Can’t say it’s THAT interesting, but hey, since when is Twitter supposed to be actually interesting anyway?
I also edited the background a bit for the blog, hope you like it! I sure do, although it might be a bit too much with the feather header ;) But for now, I’m content. Ever since I graduated from art school, I hardly touched a pencil. I feel like I’ve been drawing more in 2013 already then I did in the 3 years before that, which is a great feeling. No matter how much I love photography, there’s nothing more satisfying than a nice drawing, specially when you struggle as much as I do ;)

So, on day 2 (or actually more day 3, but the first day was only a few hours long so..) we took a 40-minute train to Sintra! It’s a small village nearby Lisbon and it’s famous for it’s fairy tale-like castle :) We all know how much I love fairy tales so I obviously HAD to go there ;) After the long train ride we decided to walk (!!) up the hill to the castle. Well, never again! Not only was it HOT (at least 25-30 degrees Celsius and I can’t stand heat. I’m never cold, always hot, so I’m literally melting as soon as it’s hotter than 15 degrees ;)) it was very steep and long. It took us longer than an hour to get there, I thought I was going to die! Note to self: pick up running again. But it was all worth it, because it was a beautiful castle (although I didn’t really care for the interior). And the view was amazing as well! Definitely a ‘must-see’ when one is in Lisbon!

Here are, as usual, a thousand pictures ;) I still have so many pictures left that I want to share, geesh. Please bear with me!

So, the other half of day 1! And a tiny bit of day 2, where we went to Sintra. Sintra is a very cute little village nearby Lisbon, where there is a beautiful palace like the ones in a Disney movie! But more on that later. Oh wait there are a few of day 3 as well, so that’s confusing haha. Anyway, not interesting to you anyway. We just hopped on and off the tourist trams, did a lot of sightseeing, saw some students that looked like they belong at Hogwarts, got some drinks.. and of course I took tons of pictures. The usual stuff! ;)

(I’ve been editing these pictures a bit different than ususal, not sure yet where to go with the editing. But sometimes it’s fun to experiment! Also, has anyone seen the new Flickr? Any comments on that? I like the look, but I find it terribly confusing. Mmmm…)
