  I'm bored.

Why am I such a loser?

Should I really post what's been going on? I don't want to bore all of you people.

Let's just say I am a really big hypocrite. And I can't stop.

I'm thinking of making this journal friends only...
Friends only means people who keep up with their own livejournal.

If you don't got one, tough. I don't even know how you found my livejournal.

So what did I do on this 4-day weekend?

Hm. Friday, I don't recall doing anything. I skipped piano because my teacher was moving.

Saturday, I don't recall doing anything.

Sunday, I went shopping. Majorly.

Monday, God, I went shopping again. But it wasn't happy shopping. It was forced shopping. Because 8th Grade Recognition Night is coming up and me being a non dressy person, I do not own a skirt or a dress. So it was major shopping and my family kept on complaining to each other. God, I literally hate the juniors department. I refuse to ever go there. EVER!

asdhfwoefih -30ri2039ruq'wldq'ap;fowrgkmr'w]=r\e=r]wepowef!

I hate that place. Just, hate it. Can't stand it.

And now I found out that we have a polka dot skirt that I could just use for recognition night with a cardigan. So we returned the pink $90 dress (on sale). Wow. $90 freaking dollars. Who would pay that much for a dress and only wear it once? Weird people. Odd people. Goofballs who are rich and live in luxury.

And school is tomorrow. blah.

but this weekend was major shopping. I got a new bag, we got a new camera which is ultra ultra ultra ultra ultra cool and it's just pure awesome. And that's all I can think of right now.

I feel like such a girl right now. I'm talking about damn shopping.
Please excuse me. I will write more exciting posts later on.

Many people have been complaining on people who hate mainstream things, MTV, Britney Spears, etc. Well here's what I have to say.

I don't care for "mainstream". If I like something, then I am going to get it. If I like a clothing item at Abercrombie and Fitch, and it's at an okay price, I will get it. I don't care about the damn label. People who concieve people as "preps" because they wore an Abercrombie shirt is ridiculous and insulting. Will you just get over it? I judge people on their personality, ALRIGHT? I do not judge people on their clothing and what music they listen to. My best friend wheres Abercrombie, and the stereotypical "prep" clothing. But I don't give a damn. She is one of the most coolest people I have ever met. I just hate it so damn much when people do that. They see someone wearing Abercrombie and immediately ASSUME that that person is just another dumb teenager. Well guess what? I do not care what you think. I will wear whatever I want. SO LIVE WITH IT. I see no such thing as mainstream. I see something as becoming known.

If I happen to like a song that is on MTV, I don't care. It's good that they're getting recognition for what they're doing, don't you think? It's just the way MTV says who they are. If MTV says that this new band, Modest Mouse, is cool, well guess what? They've been around for awhile, it's just their time to be found out about now. That's what MTV does. They say things are brand new when they're not. Other people don't like MTV because it's just called "mainstream". Again, why are peoples' brains functioned this way? To order everything as some type of group. It's stupid. I hate when people say they listen to a band, but they only listen to their earlier music, because their later music has sold out.

WHAT THE HELL DOES "SELLING OUT" MEAN ANYWAY?
Someone please give me a definition.

I hate it when people say that. Just get over it. You listen to the so-called "pop rock" music. And it's not even that punk or hardcore when you think it is.

I might not like some music, but I have my reasons as to why, okay? So please stop saying I am so picky. I'm picky because I see music as a cherishable thing that you NEED to be picky on. I see music as a gift that God has given us to enjoy. The things I listen to I will always listen to. I don't listen to something and then just get tired of it a few months later (pop music). SO THAT IS WHY I AM SO PICKY. God. I wish all of you would just stop saying I'm picky, it's tiring to hear. I give everything a chance unless I absolutely positively KNOW FOR SURE that I would not like it (rap). Britney Spears song, "Toxic"? Yeah, addicting. It gets stuck in your head and it's pure evil when it gets stuck in your head. I don't like her songs, but they get stuck in your head easily and I can't get rid of them. I gave Maroon 5 a chance after insulting them numerous times, and whaddaya know? I like one of their songs Sylvia let me listen to.

I also dislike it when people say that they don't like "oldies" music and think it sucks. Well think of it this way people. Without oldies you would not be listening to the music you like today. Nirvana, YEAH. They were inspired by The Beatles, as were 50 gazillion other bands. The Beatles are THE reason people go into music, along with other reasons, like Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and others. So don't effing say that you think "oldies" music sucks because it's because of them that you're listening to people like Good Charlotte, Maroon 5, Rooney, Weezer, even friggin' rap. GOD I'm so tired of people saying that oldies sucks. THat's why I love 60's music. Because it's the music. It's the reason bands right now are playing on MTV or VH1 or BET. The 60's were the damn counter culture people! It was when everything that had to do with love and peace and being a hippie started. GOD. Does ANYONE REALIZE THAT?

GOD. I FEEL LIKE STABBING SOMEONE NUMEROUS TIMES.

Is it possible not to be a hypocrite? I mean really, is it really that possible? Because I know that I am a hypocrite.

One of my pet peeves is when people act like they're better than someone. But then when I say that about someone, doesn't it mean that I'M acting better than them also? So in reality I'm doing something that I hate?

It baffles me, our minds and how we coordinate.

I'd like your opinion on this. Please.

Thursday I did nothing.

Friday I did nothing.

SATURDAY awesomest day ever. I went to see Mean Girls with Sylvia. It was an okay movie. Not realistic, but funny. Then we went over to her house to see Finding Nemo my first time! That is such an adorable movie. After that my brother and me went to pick up Kathryn, then went to The Shins concert. There were two opening bands, Elf Power, and The Fiery Furnaces. Both were pretty good. I liked them both, but they're just certain mood music for me. If it was every day MAYBE Elf Power. But Fiery Furnaces is still pretty good. Fiery Furnaces played straight for an hour or something, so that was crazy insane. The lead singer/guitarist is creepy. She's just plain creepy to me. And then, yes yes yes, finally, after two hours or something, The Shins came on. God they are just so awesome possum. They are so much better live than on a cd. It was cool. They were funny and played so well! I should've brought a camera or something. I got a shirt (that's 50 gazillion sizes bigger than my body) and we got back home around 1:00 I think. We didn't stay for the encore that they did, which sucks, but oh well. Denis and his other friends were there too. It was cool like no other. I wish Jenny would've gone!

JENNY YOU SHOULD'VE GONE!

But yeah it was awesome. Good band to have for a first concert. The opening bands weren't bad either. So it was all around super duper. I wasn't banging my head but I wasn't just standing there. Now I just love The Shins even more.

And today it was a homework day.

I wish all of my weekends were like this damnit!

So yeah, that was my weekend. COMMENT. I'm getting tired of people not commenting. Pretty soon I'm going to remove you from my friend list.

Do you ever think anyone can be TRULY happy?

I should've bought The Shins Chutes too Narrow album. It was $12 bucks there, which is only $2 bucks of a difference at Best Buy or Circuit City. Oh well. I'll get it sooner or later.

God we have school tomorrow.

Do you realize
That you have the most beautiful face?
Do you realize
We're floating in space?
Do you realize
That happiness makes you cry?

Do you realize

And instead of saying all of your good-byes
Let them know you realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

So I'm guessing this weekend is going to be pretty much boring boring boring boring boring. Seeing as how my mom and dad are both working on Saturday, my brother is at some car show that he's doing for Southridge, so he can't give me a ride anywhere. Sunday might be good though. Since it's Mother's Day, I asked my mom if it could be just one on one time with her and me. She said sure why not. Hmmm but mother can be a bit annoying.....

I think I'll write you my alternate CIM paper. It was only to be used if I didn't actually pass the other one, which I did. It's about a favorite something, and me being obsessive, I of course chose The Beatles as my favorite band. So I'll just write you it. It isn't the actual words that was on my final, this was my rough that I got to keep.

START OF CIM PAPER

The Beatles are known to be one of the greatest bands in history, if not, the best band. I've known who The Beatles were since I started listening to music, but have recently realized their impact in music history. The Beatles are one of my favorite bands and I'll always listen to them. My choice of having The Beatles as one of my favorite band is simple: I love the music that they created during their prominent period of reign on popular music in the 1960's. I, and I'm sure others do as well, like to sing along to what I'm listening to. Almost all of The Beatles' songs are very catchy and easy to sing along to, and I guarantee you'll have the song you were listening to stuck in your head by the end of the day. The Beatles, George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, have experimented their creativity in so many ways. Some people say that they don't listen to The Beatles because they're not fond of rock, or oldies music. But listening to The Beatles, you'll hear that their music is not just ONE certain type of music. They are considered to be in the genre of rock, or British Invasion, but if you hear albums like "Yellow Submarine", "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", or "Rubber Soul", you can hear so many different themes or types of music integrated together, it's truly remarkable to hear what the band members created. If you like classical music, then "Eleanor Rigby", with cellos and violins, could be a song that you might enjoy. "Birthday" is a song for those who like to hear the elctric guitar. "Within You, Without You" has a very Eastern Asian feeling to it. Most music artists that come out today don't write their own music and lyrics. The Beatles were gifted and every single band member participated in some way to create something on the songs. I am telling you right now to go out and buy any Beatles album, because you will not regret it.

END OF CIM PAPER

I don't know how to indent on this damn thing. My HTML work has been impaired since the last time I actually did a layout. So live with the whole one long paragraph.

What'd you think? Like? Dislike? Too cheesy?

Um what else is there to say. I've taken all of the state tests now. My reading and literature CIM test was a 244, exceeding. My mathematics CIM test was a 249, exceeding CIM, not just benchmark, at least that's what my math teacher told me. Um. I know my language arts CIM writing, I got all 4's and one 5. And I don't know about my math problem solving. So I'm doing pretty good.

Some synopsis (sp?) of friends, maybe? Um who is there...

Recently, I said in my last entry:

The only content you'll ever find in life is being happy with the 99.99% majority of your life, and having a relationship with Christ and the Lord.

And I'm only saying that last part for the Christianity religion. It can mean something different to you, so I'm sorry if you were offended by it. Everyone has different beliefs. So if you're not a Christian then you can just erase that part. So again, I'm sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean to.

Anyway, back to the synopsis:

Denis, it has been so great getting to know you in 7th grade and even more this year. You are an awesome guy and you're cool. You listen to awesome awesome music and I'm GLAD! Finally, someone loves music as much as I do. <3333333333333333333333333333333333
{Don't take the hearts too literally, Denis. And other guys.}

Ms. Linno, and Mr. Ferr, I'm keeping your real names under wraps. You never know what crazy people there are on the internet. But anyway. You teachers are some of the best teachers I've ever HAD in my entire life! You teachers are the coolest of all, and without you both in 7th grade, the year would not be fun at all. <333333333333333333333333333333

Meghan, I never get to really talk to you a lot, but I'll tell you, the times we do get to talk, they're hilarious and serious at the same time! But it's been so cool getting to know you last and this year. I hope I can get to see you more often in high school. <333333333333333333333333333333

ummm I'm too lazy to put other people.

What else is there to say? Should I talk more about emotions and feelings, and do one of those really long entries that I did a few months ago or something? Meh, it's too late for that. I'm tired. Today I was a bit depressed I guess. I just did not feel good at all. The morning got off to a bad start. I just feel like I'm losing touch with everyone and that no one wants to be with me.

So for Callie's reference, I'm ping-ponging on the idea. I never said I really did. I'm just ping-ponging. But I really don't see the point when I know it's not going to happen because there's a roadblock.

But on another note, here's some lyrics from The Beatles.

there are places I remember
in my life, though some have changed
some forever not for better
some have gone, and some remain
all these places have their moments
with lovers and friends, I still can recall
some are dead and some are living,
in my life, I've loved them all.

I purely love that song.

Oh and I felt good at the end of my piano lesson. My teacher said I was doing extremely well on Clair De Lune. She said it even sounded like a professional doing it. <333 :D

That's a total of 53 people. ANd there's still more to come!

So yeah. That thing was fulfilling for the week. It feels good to read them. If you're depressed or something, and you just read through it, you'll be happy to know that people appreciate you. I <3 that. And that is truly the way I am.

In other news, nothing else really happened. What I'd like to know is what is such the big deal with the TV show Friends? It's just a show. And in all honesty, it's not even that funny to me. It's just like any other show, so why aren't there other shows like that? It just annoys me at what the big deal is with the Friends memorabilia.

So I had somewhat of an identity crisis during late 6th and 7th grade. I was going back and forth on if I should care what people think and be stereotypicall prepperized. Or should I just not care and do what I want? I just kept on going back and forth and back and forth. I didn't really have a close friend that year. But all is past, I know who I am. Who am I? I will tell you. I am Grace and I love my life. There are the bad times, but the good times just take over and all you can do is smile when you think of them. I don't care what people think of me. If you want to think I'm a bitch, then fine. That's your problem. I appreciate your honesty though. If you think I'm the coolest person alive and super nice, then awesome, even better. But I don't care what you think of me. I can get along with people and not get along. The only reason I can be mean to someone is because they are being mean to me, so speak for yourself when you say something like that to me. I don't care.

The only content you'll ever find in life is being happy with the 99.99% majority of your life, and having a relationship with Christ and the Lord.

Now I'm going to talk about my love for music. I love music. And I truly honestly thank my brother for it. I just love love LOVE music. I can't live without it. I would die without music. It's one of my passions. I'm constantly listening to some type of music, doesn't matter what kind, just anything, will help me go into my mode of happiness. I just LOVE music. It can give you so many emotions and moods. It's nice to relax to or to rock out to. It's uber cool. It's just uber uber uber uber cool. It's part of me. It's taken over me. I'm constantly listening to music. I want to listen to it so bad during school, I wish they would just freaking LET US.

I love my friends. I truly do. I love my guy friends. I love my girl friends. I LOVE EVERYONE in all honest opinion. I just have some problems with people's attitudes and opinions. So hello to the following:

Sylvia, you are so cool. You are one of the greatest friends I've had! It is so wonderful to be around you and we have so much fun together, it's awesome. I hope to know you forever! Until I die! Even in the past life I hope to find you and talk with you. <3333333333333333333333333333

Callie, this year has been so much better with you! I don't know what I WOULD DO without YOU!!! You are such an amazing person and I am so thankful to know you. I hope to know you as well forever and ever. YOu are awesome. <3333333333333333333333

Samantha, you're one of the funniest people alive! I'm so glad you're one of my friends. You are such an awesome person and so fun to hang out with! I hope to know you too forever! We'll be playing badminton at a nursing home with Sylvia, Callie, Jaclyn, and everyone else! Haha. <33333333333333333333333

Jenny, you are part of the mold with me! Haha, you are awesome! I am so glad to have gotten to know you throughout middle school!!! YOu are so thuper duper, and you may be quirky, but it's just for the better! <33333333333333

Jaclyn, we used to be best friends in kindergarten! What happened between then and 7th grade? Hmmmm? Well anyways, you are awesome and I'm so glad I have gotten to know you so much better since kindergarten. <33333333333333333333333333333

Kathryn, it's only been like what, a year? And already you're getting to be one of my closest friends ever! YOu are such an awesome person and you are so intelligent, beyond your years. <3333333333333333333333333333

THERE ARE SOOO MANY PEOPLE TO THANK! I need to get a synopsis of Allison, Denis, Helen, Ms. Linno, Mr. Ferr, Jamie, Nina, Ben, Ruth, Megan, Sari, Meghan, Mandy, Nicholas, Nick, Christina, Taylor, EVERYONE.

On another note, here's what Callie said:

Callie, says Grace is, "Grace is an intelligent girl who loves classic rock and is very picky, music-wise and people-wise. But she is very cool and nice to hang out with."

Jenny, says Grace is, "Grace, you are an original, you didn't break the mold, you are a whole NEW mold!"

Sari, says Grace is, "Asian. Extremely smart, like genius. Grace and I used to be close and she's really smart and her mom is really nice because she gave my parents kimchi and you're a genius and you're really nice."

So I find my mother, sitting near the laptop. I am on the away message. Her finger is on the touchpad. I come in, and I ask her what she was doing. She, says she was doing nothing.

HA. What an effing liar. My own mother lied to me.

I plan on writing an autobiography. I think Callie first thought of this, but I don't think she's actually going through it. So I thought I'd do it. Here's one of my chapters. What other people think of me.

Sylvia, says Grace is, "funny, smart, quirky, energetic, and Korean."

Jaclyn, says Grace is, "talkative, smart, funny, friendly, and sweet."

Allison, says Grace is, "Intelligent, fun to talk to , can't find a career, comedic, and a very sincere person."

Kathryn, says Grace is, "nice, honest, spirited, musical, and talented."

Nikki, says Grace is, "smart, a music lover, and a hard worker."

Denis, says Grace is, "very smart, great music taste, very cool person."

Cherice, says Grace is, "smart, funny, sticks up for what she believes in, and strong minded."

Ms. Linno, says Grace is, "a good heart with a great mind."

Marquez, says Grace is, "a Korean with an original taste in music. She's a cool lady."

Samantha, says Grace is, "Caring, easy to relate to, smart, funny, interesting, entertaining, and cool."

Jamie, says Grace is, "funny, nice, like Beattles :-D."

Nina, says Grace is, "funny yet weird. LOL."

Megan, says Grace is, "smart, weird, perfectionist, who is bad at tennis, JK."

Ruth, says Grace is, "smart (very), nice, yes, OC watcher, Korean Lane like, great person, who has a great musical ability, haha hoo hee, love ya always. She likes cool music and is a cool weird person that we all love <3, :-D, ahh..."

I'm planning on getting some more input from other people.
But yes, that was a snippet of what I did over the week.

Beatlemania!

mood: artistic
I had one of the moments again. I love the moments. They're so cherishable. They're like remembering old memories of what you used to do when you were five years old, and crying over it. That's how cherishable they are to me. This time, I was on the school bus, and was listening to "In My Life", from The Beatles. I love this song. It is so cool.

The Beatles are the greatest band of all time. Really, if you think that they're not that good, then you are just weird and stupid. Sylvia says that a lot of The Beatles' music is just not her type of music. She doesn't say they suck. And I respect that. She understands that they are huge. It's just that she doesn't like them like I do. But, anyway. The Beatles are the epitome of music. Seriously, wow. I love them. They write such good music and lyrics. They are so cool. George Harrison is effing awesome. He is just awesome. End of discussion. He was the lead guitarist, and he is just so cool. He makes such good music. And he was friggin' handsome for a guy in the 60's.

In other news, there's really nothing. My brother has rented a billion cd's from the library, including a bunch of Beatles albums. Like A Hard Day's Night, Let It Be, and Please Please Me. He also got today George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. And one of his friends gave us the Concert for George DVD, and we've been watching it all weekend.

Listening to The Beatles reminds me of olden times.

So here's some songs that are my favorites of The Beatles.
It's the song, then what album it's from.

"Across the Universe", from Let It Be.
"While My Guitar Gently Weeps", from The White Album.
"Michelle", from Rubber Soul.
"In My Life", from Rubber Soul.
"Think for Yourself", from Rubber Soul.
"Drive My Car", from Rubber Soul.
"Girl", from Rubber Soul.
"Something", from Abbey Road.
"Here Comes the Sun", from Abbey Road.
"When I'm Sixty-Four", from Sgt. Pepper's....
"Sexy Sadie", from The White Album.
"Yesterday", from Help!
"Come Together", from Abbey Road.
"Let It Be", from Let It Be.

But yet there's so many more.

I was going home, while my mom was driving. I looked out at the window, and I just saw things pass me by. And I was listening to "Across the Universe" by The Beatles (wonderful song), and it just started making me think. It was scary. It just made me stop everything except my mind and the music. I didn't hear anything else at all.

I have a lot of these moments.
