The town we're staying in at the moment has a gym. Luckily for us, it was open house day today, and so we all went to work out.
Goku and I found workout clothes while we were shopping, so we wore those. They're spandex, and a combination sleeveless shirt/shorts thing. The top half looks like Sanzo's usual shirt, except it came in multiple colours.
We ended up in the cycling class, which involves riding at various difficulty levels and speeds, on and off the seat, off the seat without using one's body weight... It was much more difficult than I'd expected.
I had the most trouble keeping off of the seat, without being allowed to use my body weight to push the pedals. It's an excellent workout for the thighs ^^; Gojyo and Sanzo seemed to have a bit harder time than I did, but Goku was energetic and cheerful through the whole thing. I suppose I shouldn't expect any different.
Overall, an excellent workout. I haven't sweat that much in a long time. |

Yesterday started off as a normal, uneventful day of driving when Goku asked me to stop so he could relieve himself. We decided to take advantage of the opportunity and have lunch at the same time, so as we were unpacking the food Gojyo asks Sanzo to go hide. Of course, Gojyo has a rather insinuating way of phrasing things, so Sanzo misinterpreted.
Once that was settled, Gojyo explained his idea. It sounded funny, and since it had been a dull day, Sanzo and I agreed. I got out some leftover chicken while Sanzo hid. When Goku got back, I told him that we were eating him. He was so shocked, he practically knocked me over.
He kept to himself for a few hours afterwards, but eventually seemed to forgive us and went back to normal.
And the chicken was tasty. |

I suppose I should probably let everyone know how my birthday went.
I received a teapot from Sanzo and an assortment of tea from Goku. I suspect they went to buy them together.
We went out to a nice restaurant for dinner, and made sure Goku and Gojyo were seated at opposite ends of the table to try and cut back on fighting. It was moderately successful, which is as much as I can ask.
Gojyo persuaded me to make good use of my "green thing" later that night. It was a pleasant evening. |

It's been a while since I've had such a start so early in the morning. So incredibly early.
I hadn't even woken up yet when someone began yelling and screaming out in the hallway. For a moment, I thought it could be Goku and Gojyo arguing over something they'd misplaced, but it couldn't be. They wouldn't normally be up for another hour. It wasn't until the door to the room opened I realized it was Sanzo. He entered the room and slammed it shut, saying something about Gojyo peeping on him in the shower.
Honestly, I'm afraid to ask. |

Well, it's fall again, and it's certainly being felt lately. It's getting colder than I thought it would, so we're not completely ready for it. We'll have to be sure and pick up more winter clothes and blankets in the next town. We were definitely short of blankets over the past few nights. Sanzo's been shivering so much, it's a wonder he hasn't hit anyone when he fires off his gun.
I'm not too enthusiastic about having to drive in the winter. |

I woke up yesterday evening to find myself in a strange bed, with Gojyo at my side. The last thing I remember is seeing the headlights of the truck coming towards me, and realizing there was no way I could get out of the way in time.
I must have been out for quite a while, because Gojyo seemed very worried. I was happy to see him, especially if I was able to cheer him up. Gojyo and the others seem to be in good health, so as soon as my strength returns, things should be back to normal.
I feel very bad to have worried them. Especially since everything was my fault to begin with. I should have been paying better attention to the road. I've learned my lesson, haven't I? ^^; |

It's been twenty-four hours, and I'm still feeling better than I have in weeks.
It was mother's day yesterday, and it seems that everyone I know, Gojyo, Sanzo, Goku, and everyone at ask_the_ikkou decided to thank me for taking care of the group. I can't begin to describe how nice it is to be likened as the group's mother when it's not being used as an insult. In circumstances like these, I really don't mind too much.
Anyway, Sanzo and the others picked out a nice e-card for me..very cute.. Everyone at the community made fanart and banners for me. It all took me completely by surprise.
Thank you again, everyone. |

I had an eventful weekend.
I was surprised to find out that I was not the first one awake on friday. I was woken by Gojyo and Goku arguing. They woke up Sanzo, too. Other than that it was a pretty normal morning. Goku complained that he was hungry.. Gojyo did one of his gay-style imitations and agreed... (I can't help but laugh when he does that. ^^;)
That was when it occured to me that I should check my map.. to plan out the day's route and when we would arrive in town... we wouldn't... for another five days. Luckily, there was a lake nearby, so Gojyo and Goku went to catch some fish to eat. I stayed behind with Sanzo and Hakuryuu to guard the campsite. I tried to wake Sanzo from time to time without luck, so I let him sleep as I waited. The problem was, it took them far too long. I finally woke Sanzo and went to find Goku and Gojyo. We found them asleep, beside a large pile of fish. Sanzo woke them up, and then Gojyo and I cooked the fish. They were delicious.. there's nothing like fresh fish.
It was an enjoyable day. Goku and Gojyo argued over who caught more fish, but that's almost to be expected. I spent most of the day chatting with Gojyo. A wonderful day. |

Goku managed to convince Sanzo into letting us to go the latest town's local spring festival today.
For the most part, it went well. We went and browsed through the vendors' stands, and went on a few rides. Then Gojyo spotted an odd, spinny ride. It was one of the ones set up like a giant wheel, and the carts spin around it.. and each cart spins on its own, sort of like how the earth rotates around the sun, and around its own axis, except on a much smaller scale.
I'd been on a few rides like this in the past, and enjoyed them, so I had no problems going on this one. We piled into two cars, and the ride started. And went on. And on. And on. In fact, it easily went on for twice as long as any other version of this ride I'd ever seen.
Now, these rides don't last long for a reason. It's because if it goes on too long, it tends to give the riders motion sickness. Gojyo and I were no exceptions.
Finally, the ride ended, and the operator started to let people off. Of course, he got to Gojyo and my cart last. When we finally made it to the bottom again, the operator paused, and then sent the cart up again. For one, terrifying moment, I feared that he was going to leave us on for the next ride. I shouted at him, angered by the thought.
The ride stopped after a third of a revolution, then switched directions and brought us down to the bottom where we were finally left off. Of course, if I hadn't been so nauseous I would have realized he didn't think we would be able to get off the first time and was trying to realign us.. but I was.
We went to a nearby picnic table to rest. I tried to distract myself from that odd feeling in my throat by venting my frustrations.
Anyway, Sanzo and Goku eventually left to get Goku some lunch, and I was starting to feel better. My stomach was feeling better and my mood was improving. Until it started raining. Gojyo and I continued to .. voice our displeasure about the day even after we'd left, and Sanzo sat in silence. At least Goku enjoyed himself. |

We ran into Kougaiji and his friends today. Things went as one might predict for the most part. Goku had fun sparring with Kougaiji and Gojyo got to spend some quality time with his brother. I was obliged to fight with Yaone-san, but since neither of us really wanted to, we ended up spending the time chatting instead.
It seems Yaone is worried that Kougaiji is experiencing more stress than normal and is trying her best to cheer him up. It also seems that she often gets charged with caring for Lirin, and finds that extremely frustrating. I didn't get any news about Dokugakuji, but I suppose Gojyo can fill you in on that.
The chat was going so nicely, I didn't even notice Sanzo getting poisoned until he suddenly (from my viewpoint) collapsed. Luckily, we managed to make it back to town before the poisoning got TOO serious, but it will still take a while for Sanzo to recover.
Poor Goku is worrying himself sick, though. |

There are sometimes I find it quite appropriate that I'm a primary school teacher. Sanzo has a habit of acting like a five year old!
It started this afternoon. We were driving, as usual. I warned the others that we were entering a patch of rocky ground. Things were going nice and quietly for once, when Gojyo asks Sanzo, quite normally, to borrow his lighter. Then, for no other reason that I can guess other than because Gojyo had Dared to speak to him, Sanzo turned around and fired at him.
Now, we've all asked Sanzo several times not to fire his gun in the jeep. This is why. Not only did he just barely miss injuring Gojyo, he came quite close to injuring Hakuryuu, as well. Of course, things escalated into a large argument from there.
Now, I dislike getting angry with my friends. Honestly, I do. But with Sanzo coming thisclose to putting a bullet into two of our group at once, and then trying to blame Gojyo for it, I just couldn't help myself. I stopped the jeep right then and there and started yelling at Sanzo. After all, I'd asked him SEVERAL times NOT to fire his gun in the jeep, and with the rough ground, I really needed to concentrate on my driving. How can I be expected to do that when Sanzo is right beside me, yelling in my ear?! Would it really be that hard to lend Gojyo his lighter for two seconds?
I have never met a more spoiled and selfish individual in all my life! |

I'm sorry, I haven't had time to update lately.
The only thing interesting to happen was about a month back.
Gojyo and Goku had gotten into a snowball fight. Someone's aim was off, and I got hit instead. I turned around, and since Gojyo looked the most guilty, I threw a snowball at him... except he ducked, and I got Sanzo instead.
We went inside for hot chocolate once the snowballfight ended, and wrapped ourselves up in some nice, fuzzy, warm blankets that Goku found. We spent the rest of the afternoon sipping our hot chocolates, chatting by the fireplace. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
It became a thorougly enjoyable evening, later, when I decided to model that new .. article of clothing.. for Gojyo. He, uh, definitely liked it, but I don't need to go into detail about that. |

The past few days have been pretty eventful.
I went shopping with Sanzo on Saturday. For the most part, it was a pleasant trip. We stopped off for coffee and a chat when we arrived downtown. Things were going well, and we set off for the grocery store. But when we were halfway there, it started raining, which.. certainly didn't help our moods any. It stopped as we arrived, and then started again just after we'd left the grocery store. Sanzo and I were less than impressed.
Luckily for me, Gojyo was in when I got back.. and I'm sure Goku was able to cheer Sanzo up, somewhat.
Today, I found a blood donor clinic, and since I had some free time, I thought I'd donate. The process was familiar. They tested my iron level (not my blood type - they know that already, since I've donated before.), and got me to fill out a questionnaire about my travels and my AIDS risk level.
I ran into a few problems, though. It seems they didn't put the needle in far enough, and so I was unable to fill the bag completely. When they had removed it, and I was sitting in the rest area, having a few refreshments, my wound started stinging more than usual, and they had to write up an incident report, although I'm sure it was nothing.
I hope I haven't worried Gojyo or the others. |

Today I, uh, gave Gojyo that item I bought for him a few days ago. You know, the blue one.
I wrapped it up in gift wrap and a little bow and left it in our room in the inn with a little note. He's sure to see it. I left his cigarettes on top of it. I just hope he hasn't overlooked it.
It's been an otherwise uneventful day. We passed through a nice forest path today. It was quite relaxing. |

I went to the stores to get those things I had my eye on yesterday. The green one for myself, and the blue for Gojyo. I didn't have time to give it to him when I came back, since we set off right away.
I'm not sure if I will give it to him, after all. He asked me to pull over so he could relieve himself and ended up being gone for three hours. I was starting to worry that perhaps he'd been attacked and was unable to return to us. I was able to convince Sanzo to let us look for him (with help from Goku, of course.) We found him on a beach. Flirting with the girl with the largest breasts and the smallest bathing suit he could find. Needless to say, I was less than impressed.
To his credit, he did spend the rest of the day with me. We swam. Gojyo is a strong swimmer - it was quite the workout trying to keep up. He bought us hotdogs from a vendor on the beach, which we ate while watching Sanzo chase Goku for his sandals.
Hakuryuu seemed to enjoy himself. He splashed about in the shallow water and made a point of shaking himself dry beside Goku and Sanzo. It was an enjoyable day, overall. I just don't know what to think when Gojyo is so quick to forget about us.. |

It seems like it's been a while since we've had a nice quiet day like this. I don't think we had a single youkai attack. All-in-all, it was a nice relaxing day. Nice weather, hardly any noise.
Except for Gojyo and Goku arguing in the backseat, but that's hardly out of the ordinary.
And Sanzo complaining about life, the universe and everything. His comments can be quite.. colourful and interesting to listen to, so I don't mind much.
I noticed a few nice items in a few shop windows when I went shopping with Gojyo earlier this evening. I think I'll stop buy and pick them up before we leave town tomorrow morning. |
