yesterday after work, i went down to 33 seah street, sun lik trading to check out baking supplies.
initially was unimpressed with the shopfront, its like, this is it ?

the place looked a little more rundown than i had imagine, but it was well stocked, and generally cheaper,
even than phoon huat !! they had sprinkles, lots of differnt sprinkles, every cute christmas-y ones too. valrhonas were, contrary to my belief, not very expensive!!

after about half an hour in the shop, i got varlhona feves and cocoa powder, carrot shaped gummies to top my future carrot cupcakes and a digital scale ! will be back from the block of varlhona after checking out the pierre herme book.

met sam for dinner at ma maison at bugis. food was pretty good, enviroment lovely and we had a nice dinner (: 

walked around for a bit, went to starbucks where i met regina from primary school and got 20% off my drinks.

just this morning, my brother and i walked out together as he was going to school and me to work.
and this smartypants brother of mine, did superbly well for all his subjects, all A1s except higher chinese which he did not meet the 65% mark by a mere 2% so he's off to school to appeal. so i asked him what subs he's gonna take. and he's doing triple pure science, amath, pure geog and elec history + the usual subs. 9 subs already. so i was like, so you're going for 9 A1s ? then he's like hopefully 10. he really wants to do higher chinese. like ohmyword. i really hope he gets to do HCL. cause its something he wants. but i did tell him not to be so geeky and have a social life also in future, haha.

i think before i go aust, i need to borrow his smarty pants man. might not fit, but i could hang it in my wardrobe and let some of its smartness rub off me.
