I had a dream last night where I got a haircut and they did it wrong! They cut the front and sides really short, but left the back long.. it looked cool granted, but I had to style it in time for a party and I didnt have enough time to do that *and* put my suit on :(

Feeder - TVme |
] |
Wednesday 10th December 2003 - Wembley Arena
The second gig of the Esher Posse tour started yesterday morning when I texted Nick to get his final answer on whether he was coming to the show. He'd decided against it because of the apparent Tube strike, which meant that him and Rachel might not be able to get back to Esher before the last train.
I was staying over at Amys house for the night so I wasnt affected by it. Which meant it was up to me to carry the good name of the Esher Posse for the night.
I arrived at Esher station and walked onto the platform, where I saw a bunch of guys in Feeder t-shirts. One of them looked suprisingly like Damon Albarn... Anyways I asked them if they were off to Wembley and they said yes... We got chatting on the way there and it turned out they were proper hardcore fans from 1998. Which was cool because I could talk about Bsides (and singalongs - Ataris fans ;) ) and not have them stare blankly back at me and ask what TVme is... lol
We got to Baker Street where the guys left for Wembley and I caught the train to Amy's. I dropped my stuff off there and passed the time by playing piano with Ames... Just the thing to get you in the mood for a rock show :P lol
Me and Amy got to the venue and queued up, got our wristbands and went down to the standing area. I shouted at Aqualung again, and Amy told me off :P She went to the toilet a few times and eventually we settled down to TCTC. They were a good, entertaining little band.
Nance texted me during their set and asked where me and Amy were, so I said we'd come over and say hi after the Coopers. And thats what we did! Which then led me to bump into Yunass!! Which meant that I wasnt the only Esher Posse member there, and I also saw Yune, who i havent seen in ages... lol
Then Feeder came on. They played exactly the same set as Brum, but myyyyy god it was so much better. The distortion was spot on and the crowd was far more into it... Everything bad had been ironed out.
After the show me and Amy walked back over to Pete and Nance to say goodbye and stuff, when from nowhere, Dave appears!
"Chapmaaaaaan!" "Daaaaaave!!
Had a little chat, and a while later, possibly from nowhere as well, Bex and Liz come over. At least I think it was Liz. She was stood next to Bex and didnt say a word so I kinda had to make a wild guess :P
Nance took a few photos of the Feederposse, both of which I ruined by blinking, and sneezing... lol
Everyone said their goodbyes and we all went our separate ways. We stopped off for chips on the way back to Amys, and shortly afterwards we allll went to bed.
And no one asked for my autograph :(

Feeder - Descend |

Day one of the Esher Posse tour...
esherposse
I was up and ready at 10:30, which was when Nick and Rachel were meant to be picking me up. Until I got a text saying they had just got up and would be an hour late... Which was a good start to the day! lol
We stopped off at Warwick services on the way there for a bite to eat, and somehow got talked into getting a credit card by some jive talkin' black man. He also said we looked like students... Which actually quite offended Nick... lol
Got to Brum at around 4ish after passing through the gravy factories of Banbury and parked at Nicks uncles house, and walked to the train station. It was cold. On the way to New Street station we passed a place called "Gravelly Hills" and thought it would be the perfect setting for a gravy-themed version of Beverly Hills 90210.
Got to New Street and met up with Chris and Becca and walked to the pub... Where eventually Deacs, Liz, Clair and her sister whos name Ive forgotten, Ben and his mates showed up. We all had a chat about things, the new Esher Posse slogan being one of them and eventually wandered over to the NIA.
Aqualung sucked as expected, so I decided to eat all the sweets I'd bought at the services earlier.
Feeder opened up with five excellent fast paced songs, and then promptly killed the set by playing FAT... It dragged for a few songs until they played Buck Rogers and then opened up some YWTS era stuff which was great. Descend was incredible to see, and reminded me of what Feeder used to be like :(
For the encore Rach, Chris and me wandered into the middle of the crowd. Feeder played the standard set closers, which was kinda boring, and my shouts for Sweet16 and Shade were ignored. :(
Said our goodbyes to the Feederposse and got picked up by Nicks uncle. And slept.
Next Date: - Feeder - Wembley Arena.

Amykins came over today, we had a good laugh really. We listened to some classic Greenday where I told her that Dookie and Basketcase were the equivalent of Nirvanas Nevermind and Smells Like Teen Spirit in terms of impact and influence.
I dont think she believed me. :P
Ive got three gigs in five days lined up over the next week, with the first one being Feeder tomorrow at the Birmingham NIA followed by the Feeder lads at Wembley with Amy on Wednesday. And finally, the gig im most looking forward to: The mighty IRON MAIDEN BEING SUPPORTED BY FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND at Londons Earls Court Arena on Friday.
See you in a week. ROCK AND ROLL!!!

Feeder - Bad Hair Day (no, really) |
] |
Now normally when you say this to someone, they try and do it like you want.
I got my hair cut today. By a Romanian guy who didnt speak much English. He seemed a good hairdresser but he was about as accurate as an American bomb when it came to doing my hair how I wanted it.
Its really fucking short at the sides, ok ontop but im not even sure if there is actually any hair at the back. Its that fuckin short.
What annoys me is I think i look like 12 years old, and before people used to say I was around 21. My mum said I looked fine, but when I went downstairs to show my dad he asked if I'd had a shave!!!
Man this sucks.
I need bleach and fast.

Hello all.
Not been upto much recently, Im getting a haircut tomorrow... After seven months of not having them :P
Then I'll get my mum to whack some bleach or whatever onto it... It'll look poorly done, which is how I like it :D
Saw Amy at the weekend. She cut me with a baguette and I got in a mood :( :P But good fun was had by all... and it only cost me £4.60 to get back on Sunday!!
I pay £7.90 when I leave from Hinchley Wood :(
Ive been wearing hats a lot recently. Last night Nicko came over and we played Conflict Desert Storm 2 and to get in the mood I decided we should wear hats. I liked mine so I kept it on after he left :D
Today I'm wearing a beanie because after washing my hair this morning I kinda looked like a 1950's housewife. So I'm wearing this to keep my hair flat.
..and I look kinda cool with the long hair coming out the back. :P

Funeral for a Friend - Bullet Theory |
] |
Yesterday I decided to attempt the impossible.
A feat so incredibly hard that only a few mortals have ever tried, let alone succeeded in.
Thats right, I went to www.mxtabs.net and found the Iron Maiden tabs for the song Rainmaker.
...and Ive just about got the intro down. How cool is that? :D
I also decided to learn the intros to Bullet Theory and Escape Artists Never Die by FFAF for shits and giggles.
Ah my fingers havent hurt like this since I first started playing guitar... *reminisces* :P

Thats right, after months of eluding me I finally managed to record the Funeral for a Friend album Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation onto my Minidisc player! :D
I did it by splicing together two headphone jacks and recording from the CD player downstairs. It cost my Dad about £10... but he doesnt know that yet. And he wont until he needs his headphones next :P
Anyways I'll be celebrating with some Ska Tunery now... :D

Well they might as well say it :P lol
Trains were awful yesterday when I went to see Amykins. I got to Esher station at 11:30am and just missed the train to Waterloo. Then apparently due to a massive signal failre at Wimbledon the next train would end at Surbiton.
Waited half an hour at Surbiton for a train to Wimbledon and from there I caught the underground District line to Victoria. Then I got the Victoria line to Green Park, then the Jubilee line to Baker Street, and from there I got to Amys house.
I arrived at 2:10pm... Two hours and forty minutes later :P
Who says I'm not a dedicated boyfriend eh!? :P
Had some fun with Amy at hers...;) lol Then flipped a coin to decided whether I should stay over or go home... lol But I had to go anyways :(
Also, Little Friends on E4 is SOOOOOOOOOOO funny! :D This little kid just told Busted that they were shit!
Anyways... I want to buy something now :(

Anything angry... |

I went bowling in Guildford with my mum and brother today... Was a good laugh and a good time was had by all.
But on the way home as I got off the train at Hinchley Wood station these two johnboys also get off and look me up and down. I pretty much realise what theyre gonna do and so for obvious reasons I dont go down the unlit alley i usually take to get home.
So these two guys follow me round the shops shouting shit at me, and as I try to cross the road one runs after me shouting "Oi stop bruv" and some crap about my hair. I managed to get into the petrol station before he caught up with me... They left a little while after that.
But the thing thats really pissed me off is that I basically could have lost my £100 Minidisc player, my phone and wallet to some little shits with nothing better to do who dont even live around here... Because of the way I look or the way I want my hair. All this taking place something like 200 yards from my house. I probably could have taken them, but it was possible they had knives so I wasnt gonna risk it.
I had an idea this would happen eventually as Hinchley Wood station is where people like that usually hang about, but its weird that in the past 5 months of using that station when I get back from Amys at 10 or so at night, nothing has ever happened. Yet at Six in the evening I get followed and have to go out of my way to get home.
Bastards.

Last night sucked... If you want some of the story then go read Amys journal. Im not going into it here.
But work tonight was loads of fun! :D
I spose I deserved it.. lol But there was nothing to put out onto the shop floor so I just took a 45 minute break and stood around chatting to people
Then at the end of the night me, Emma and Steve (?) had a fight with loads of old baguettes... Then we did jousting with them on some pump trucks (Theyre like scooters, but they lift stuff)
Then for some reason Mark gave the store security guard who Ive never spoken to before a lift to Esher station..
But yeah. I enjoyed work :D
Pissed off now however.
