I'm so excited!!!!
Guess what Guess what Guess what Guess what!!!

BBC Children In Need (one of the big charity funders over here) rang yesterday in the middle of our youth project group (so as we were trying to calm down 20 little 'angels' to sit and eat their tea) and said that they are interested in my application for funding (this is for the project working with asylum seekers kids and youth out at Hillside Reception Centre in Bramley!!!!!! That does not mean they are now giving me the £50,000 I asked for, BUT next Monday at 2pm I have an hour long phone interview to talk more about the project I am wanting to establish and how their money would be spent etc....and then the decision carries on from there.....I was so excited on the phone, I felt like someone had called to tell me I had won the lottery =) I was also then excited off the phone for the rest of the night, and still am now every time I think about it! Though now I really need to find some time this week to go over my project and application notes to see how I can explain it more to them....
It's absolutely amazing...even the timing is such an answer to prayer! I haven't heard ought from them since November and then on Friday night I was praying that I would hear something positive from them this week...and I did! Score!
