Zo, net terug uit Tunesie.
Foto's zolals gewoonlijk staan op een digitale camera en daar zullen ze voorlopig blijven.
Maar ik ga wel even al jullie LJ's terug lezen en met onzin reageren waar (niet) van toepassing.
OOk leuk, ben net terug en kan morgen al weer freelancend aan den slag. er is echt nix zo prettig als je terug komt van vakantie als uitzicht op geld.
check ook Eeuwig Weekend alwaar je nog nooit vertoonde Bunbun beelden zult vinden.

I wonder if this is funny... I thought it was but thats something completely different.
(luckily this is my webcomic and I get to post it annyhoe.)
I'm thinking of doing a summer stop to take a break but starting again has always proven difficult.
Maybe i'll post a breakdown of the visits of the last couple of months (I used to do that sometimes) cos I its actually quite funny sometimes just to see how many (or how few) hits com from witch country.
Next weekend is warhammer weekend so don't expect a update on monday. |

Thats Richt, today is Bunbuns 4th birtday, but because of various reasons there won't be any real celebrations for now. Next year I plan to do something big, but than again maybe not.
Man Did I use cheap paint for this comic... very very cheap paint, so very few pigment and it shows. I'm happy with the end result but as soon as I got some money in the bank I'll buy some good stuff again. |

I hate missing my deadline, it makes it harder to make the next deadline and this process gets worse every week, I don't mind making a bad joke every week, but if you haven't updated for 14 days you really want to get back there with a good joke.
I've been busy with some freelance illustration thing and animation and then there was all the happy happy festival stuff and a big pile of video games I bought on queens day...
But I've updated again and I'm happy with this comic, sometimes I just cant think of anything and ask someone for an object.. as with this comic. The first reply when I asked for an object was a chair but that was then corrected in a bucket.. Why I didn't ask because pictures of buckets making sweet sweet love to chairs started popping in my head. (so be afraid when I ever ask for an object)
The coloring of this comic is dome with photoshop maybe if I make the time I will re color using the real stuff.
and now its time to close the curtains to keep the evil sun from my TV screen and play some video games. (after with I will do some real work of course..) |

Picked it up from Station Naarden/Bussum where I spotted it a few days ago.
I always wanted a table like this and I have found it! And its a red one too!!
(and exact the right height and sise, cosmic forces could be at work (or not))
Fuck Ikea!!!

Well 'they' said somewhere on the internet once this comic likes returning theme's. since then I've been trying to make that a true fact. So here is a very old and corny theme again, this time in a new acrylic and ink style.
And now I'm off to the Afff my movie starts in 2 hours.

A nice follow up on my last post, so here you should totally get it.
the coloring was done with prepainted acryl textures in photoshop. a technique I totally stole from Bo-Danique and have to try some more to really get the hang of it. |

The reason why this comic is a bit late is (I hope) pretty obvious. the concept was inspired by a guest cartoon that Rob v. B. did for me last year (look it up for yourself if you're interested).
This comic was drawn on a single A4, just like the normal webcomic. (normally if the result should be A4 I draw on A3)
Also totally non important, the figure Bunbun dreams of is something that I remember from a very cool and strange dream I had last week and sketched in my dummy, this was the first time I tried drawing something I dreamed up that came out looking quite like the dream thingy itself. (so hurray for that). |

On another comic I drew (one for Myx Mag so you didn't see it here) I got a tot of feedback from colleagues about he use of acryl for the color. so on this comic I tried to use those tips and pointers. at the moment I'm quite happy with the result, I hope I still will be the next time when I look at this comic. |

For anyone who cares: This comic was colored with Acryl paint and I plan to do that more often. all the other resent comics where colored in ecoline but I only have a few different colors of that ink and my local art supplier charges way to much for a pot (€2,50 in stead of €1,90). I heard that ecoline and acryl do wonders if you use them together so portect your eyes for future experiments.
Last weeks comic con was great, and that's probably all I'm going to say about that (: |

Not the best joke and kinda already done but I'm working on this double series of jokes (eggs and clowns) and this one fits well and I needed a extra egg joke. (so guess what, next weeks gonna be a crappy clown joke again (Whoehahahahahahaa)
Jummie Jaap liked the panels of the last comic so I thought I'll try some more. this works well if the first pannel is just Bunbun walking to get the setting (I think).
