just in time for christmas

Hello my lovelies! I am so happy to be back on LJ, you would not believe. It feels as if its been an age since I've even sat down in this computer chair for more than 15 minutes. I missed you all tons!

Well, my mock exams are over. Which is a relief. I did okay, surprisingly enough. I got two A*s, five As and three Bs, so I passed everything. Ohmylord. I went from a C in Greek and Chemistry to an A! Weirdly enough, I got a B in English Lit which is actually my best subject and I got an A* in Physics which is like my worst. PHYSICS. Do you know how freaky that is? As you can see from my picture, (which, incidentally, my text should have been wrapped around but I'm not clever enough to do that) Christmas preparations are fully underway in my household which is good considering its only two days to go, but for us, believe me, its a miracle. I decorated that tree SINGLE-HANDEDLY while watching all my taped Rome and Lost from over the mocks period. I am so glad Lost finally got its butt onto Channel 4. It owns all. Charlie/Claire all the damn way. Is anyone else not sure about whether they are Sawyer/Kate or Jack/Kate? I find that when I'm just as happy when there's chemistry between Jack and Kate as when there's some with Sawyer and Kate. *shrugs* Personally, if I was Kate, I'd pick Sawyer. ESPECIALLY in the steamrolled-Potter glasses. Hot or what?

Anyway, I'm rambling.. back to Christmas. I'm really excited about it, tomorrow I'm going last-minute shopping and present exchanging with Alex and Becky and then in the evening, I'm going out for (quite a posh) meal with my parents and my mad family on my Dad's side. Lots of laughing and loudness await. On Christmas Day itself, I shall be opening my pressies as usual with my mum, dad and dog. Then we've got my other aunt on my dad's side and my cousin Hannah coming round so Christmas turkey with ALL the trimmings are on the menu. As far as Christmas presents go, I know for sure I'm getting something from Topshop and Kookai, (I've seen the boxes that the stores wrapped for my mum). I also know I'm getting The Notebook on dvd. On Boxing Day, we're having a Christmas party with the mad family on my dad's side AND my other aunt on my dad's side so everyone's together. A lot more laughing and loudness await.

But, isn't that what Christmas is all about? Apart from, obviously, the religious implications, Christmas is about family. And over-eating. And lots of drink. How are all of you spending Christmas? I heard that in America you don't go in for Christmas so much as we do here, and its more Thanksgiving for you?

Anyway, I'm off to watch the Christmas telly, CHEERS and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you.

17) Until the French assistante Marie arrives, I have a double free on Monday mornings.

19) I hate all sciences. Especially Physics.
20) My favourite obsession right now is Lost.
