BioI'm a 31-year-old married mother of two. Completed high school on time and spent some time in college, though I do not have a degree. I enjoy reading, watching movies of all sorts and listening to music of most sorts.
Politically, I am a left-wing liberal from a right-wing conservative upbringing. Religiously, I was raised in a fairly strict Southern Baptist home but experienced enough "Christian Life" that my opinion of self-proclaimed people of Christ are more likely to be hypocrites than anything else.
As I am typing this, it is November of 2005, George Dubya is in office, we are still at war in Iraq, central PA gas price for regular unleaded is $2.15 per gallon and last month it was $2.49 for the same.
My heroes are: My mother, Katherine, my husband, Bill, my best friend, Erica, Bill Maher from HBO and Jon Stewart from Comedy Central.
My reason for this livejournal? To vent about the goings-on in the world, discuss and debate issues with others willing to share their views beyond saying "You suck!" or "Pat Robertson says you're going to Hell!" Also, to occasionally enjoy discussion about books, movies and music. 'Cause, too much political unrest and no play... or something like that.
