Who are you?
- I'm Alyssa, though on the internet I'm mostly known as squirrel_tamer (unfortunately). I love drawing and writing, athough I feel fairly mediocre at both.


What's here?
- Well, as of now, there are a lot of stories and art. Most of the art consists of very meager scraps or things that I have no intention of finishing. As for the stories, most of what you'll see is fanfiction. Currently all of my original fiction is in friends-locked posts and separated onto various filter groups.


How often do you post?
- It varies. Sometimes I'll go through a period where I post almost every day and then one day I might just go MIA for a few months. Mostly I post when I feel I have a good reason to.


Why should I add you?
- Because you love me? Honestly, it doesn't matter. If you're interested in seeing some scrappy art of mine or having a quick link to my fanfiction then go right ahead. Be sure to comment on this post if you do.


Will you add me?
- Yes, I will! I love meeting new people and poking around my Flist. It keeps me well entertained.


Can I get added to the ______ filter?
- Depends. If you've shown interest in that series before or I just think you're awesome, then it's pretty much an automatic thing. If you've never said a word to me before asking, it's probably not gonna happen.

note: So. A BILLION years ago I became utterly fixated on Hey Arnold! Today, I still love it way more than I should. I guess there's just something about the show that will never stop striking some chord within me. It's more than just loving Helga/Arnold now. Hey Arnold! has become a second home. It's a part of me.

I fell in love with Hey Arnold! in the seventh grade. When I was little more than a baby, really.

I wrote my very first fic then. Not just my first fanfic - my very first story that I had actually sat down and typed out all for myself. It's in script format. Has little to no capitalization. Spelling atrocities abound. Grammar fail. It was all set to the Spirit Soundtrack (HERE!), because even though I hated that movie, I managed to find an entirely different plotline in the Soundtrack. It's also supposed to be my own interpretation of what The Jungle Movie would have been like and I was CONVINCED that I had basically produced a flawless script and that probably Craig Bartlett was going to ask if he could use it when he actually made the movie, because it was JUST THAT GOOD.

It's been... about seven years since then. I've grown. I mean, I'm still immature and obsessed with a silly cartoon, but I'm okay with that. Also, I capitalize stuff now! Sometimes to the point where THAT'S ALL I DO.

But I think it's about time I shared that very first story. Despite all of it's terrible, awful flaws, it still manages to make me love it.

In other news the HA! Season Six Fan Project of Epicness has officially begun.

So far there's just a lot of speculation and stuff. I'd love to see an actual script at some point. I kind of would love to do the proposed pilot episode. It's basically going to be a sequence of various parts of Hillwood and the kids are now in fifth grade and it's all about how everything and nothing is changing. I think it could be really awesome.

I made a Tauren Hunter today on WoW and THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN TO PLAY. I don't even have a pet yet and I'm totes digging having such an awesome range to fight. Also, if Calvin (from Ternion) played WoW he'd totally be a female Tauren Hunter and he'd be AWESOME. AWESOME LIKE ME.

Still undecided about whether to keep playing or not. Tomorrow's the last day of my trial. :\

I hate that only Blood Elves can be Paladins on the Horde side. I was basically born to be a Paladin. Defense/Healing? Yeah. That's me. ALL THE WAY. But you have to pay moooore for Blood Elves and they are not the race I'd want to be anyway. Whatever.

The undead are my favorites, but I don't really mesh with the classes that they have under them. I love my Undead Warrior chick, but the Warrior class doesn't completely appeal to me? I do like being able to take a beating though. And when you're Undead you get to EAT CORPSES. It's awesome.

Um, sorry for being so boring and talking 'bout WoW. I will move on from this game soon enough (especially if I cheap out and don't buy it.....).

Anyway, GIMME FANDOMS SO I CAN TELL YOU WHAT I THINK ABOUT THEM.

1) So apparently I blacked out sometime this past Saturday and signed up to do art of Rhonda/Patty for nick_girlslash's International Day of Femmeslash Fanmix. I only somewhat remember this occuring. What the fuck. I am going craaaaazy.

On the upside, RHONDA/PATTY.

Someone be sure to remind me that I have until July 11th to finish that, because I am sure to forget. D:

2) I am currently playing on a 10 day trial of World of Warcraft! I am a Level 16 Undead Warrior named Fuzzyslipper (it wouldn't let me add the extra 's'! D:< ) and I am terrible at it. I also think the game itself is kind of boring, but I really like teaming up with my RL friends and doing stuff. I'm torn on whether I should actually buy the game or not. It's $20 to activate the account and it's supposed to be $15 from then on? I think? :\

So yeah, it's an okay game, but I do not know if it is worth the continual fees I'd have to pay to play it. </dilemma>

3) I miss drawing.

4) I dunno, I'm just bored and sleepy and restless.

(I am also pretty sure that my adoration of femme fatales who have jet black hair and wear lots of red, silky things comes from a childhood love of Miss Scarlet. She is hilarious! And catty! And super sexy! She's also vain and gets INSANELY jealous. I love her so!)

a/n: Lol, this turned out much more sappy and full of story-ness than I had expected it too.

I have a weird sort of storyline in my head for the Goths. I mean, most of it follows the canon, but it also throws Kaylynn into the mix and how she relates to Bella and Mortimer and how eventually Mortimer pays her in Elixir of Life if she'll just stay out of their lives (because it's killing Bella, just a bit). And the whole storyline would end with Bella returning to PV with her memories fixed up and ready to find Mortimer and explain, but by that point Cassandra is gone and Dina's living her house and Alexander is nowhere to be found.

And Mortimer is maybe/probably dead dead dead and (AN ETERNALLY YOUNG) Kaylynn is hanging by his grave and she and Bella talk and it's HORRIBLY DEPRESSING, because I apparently love to fuck with my OTPs....

PS That last line BUGS me, but I can't think of anything to replace it with. HALP.

Um, so after my OMGMORTIMER/BELLA/KAYLYNN flail last night, I decided that I REALLY REALLY would like to learn to draw them properly. So I fired up my sister's computer and turned up all the graphic settings to 'OH YEAH BABY' and began capping shit like a MAN ON FIRE.

And then partway through, I was like... THIS NEEDS MORE OTP. So I stopped to take about 3094283904802 shots of Bella and Mortimer BEING ADORABLE. Those caps will be posted later, for they still need to be resized and junk. But anyway, I don't know if this will benefit anyone, but me, but here is my SUPER HARDCORE OH YEAH BABY GRAPHICS REFERENCE BONANZA of Bella, Kaylynn and Morty from kid-young adult.

1) Um, I went on another friending frenzy and have pretty much added anyone who had added me without saying anything. HELLO LURKERS ILU!

2) The Kink Meme is off to a good, but slow start. Seriously people. LET'S SEE SOME pr0n! Request! And write! And have fun! I'm now behind on my request to fic ratio, but it's cool, because THERE AREN'T ENOUGH REQUESTS. NEED MOAR.

I wish I could settle on a way to draw Kaylynn/Bella/Mortimer. I keep pulling bits and pieces from each game and nothing is working.

3) You guys have no idea how bad this stupid fic idea of Kaylynn and Mortimer getting together after Bella's disappearance and explanations for why Kaylynn is so young and Kaylynn so OBVIOUSLY wanting to both BE Bella and wanting to be WITH Bella. Also, she'd totally sleep with Mortimer. And probably wear Bella's clothes at some point. And Mortimer is all GRUMPY AND RESERVED and like: "YOU ARE NOT HER AND YOU WILL NEVER BE HER SO STOP TRYING." which just makes Kaylynn even sadder, because it's TRUE.

Oh man. This is why I love the Sims 3. Because it makes me go: "WTF KAYLYNN/MORTIMER/BELLA?! DO WANT!"

4) I can't draw. I just... CAN'T DO IT. Everything comes out looking awful. I hate it.

5) Bannon and Ayesha had twin girls named Zoe and Dee who are now teens and I love them. Zoe is all pointy and Dee looks like a Drag Queen. Dee is also totally my favorite. I also have maybe managed to extract Bannon, but I am not entirely sure. I'll upload him somewhere eventually. I am lazy.

6) Okay. TS1 and 2 Mortimer do NOTHING for me. But he grows up SO WEIRDLY HANDSOME AND GRUMPY AND EYEBROW-LICIOUS in TS3. Also, my grown up Mortimer will NOT have a mustache. NO. But uhhh, I never expected to fall for him like I have. He just... I LOOOOOVE him. I cannot explain it. I am collecting screenshots from ALL OVER THE INTERNET to turn into icons of him and Bella and LOOOOOOOVE.

So, I might have made an anonymous kink meme for the Sims....

I'll give you guys the link to the comm soon enough and ask you to PIMP IT OUT, but for now I just need input.

What should I allow as far as what kind of sims should be allowed? Because the problem is that you can make ANYONE with the sims and so you venture into RPF and even weirder than Sim celebrity RPF would be the inevitable Sim player RPF. I don't mind RPF even if it ain't my thing, but it seems like it could get REALLY wanky REALLY fast if we start bringing in internet personas and that sort of thing. And wank in a porn meme is upsetting.

So I'm thinking about saying no RPF Sims at all, but am worried about the backlash that might cause. But not REALLY worried. It's just like... I can see the inevitable wank storm it might bring, but I think it'd be good for the Sims comm to hear 'no' or even just "I am sad for you but thems the breaks."

I also thought about just limiting it to premades, but that's no fun! People definitely have ships from other's legacies or their own or even from somebody else's story and I think it'd be neat to have that option available.

I AM SO CONFLICTED.
