i, for one, won't abandon LJ. i enjoy facebook, but i still enjoy reading about peoples' lives in detail. sure, there's the notes section over there, but its not the sole reason why people are on facebook, so it often gets overlooked. the majority of my good friends are online, and i dont like having my interactions reduced to microscopic snapshots of their lives.
i have 9 years of my life documented here. i can go back and see how stupid i've been and how far i've gone. my life is changing - changing a lot, actually, and a lot more than what i let people know about, and i'm pleased with its direction.
i say that because there are still people out there that think i am the alcohol swilling manic club DJ of yore. and i'm not.
i've consumed adult beverages approximately 3 times since the new year. i bike, i hike, i ski, i spend a lot of time outdoors. i give a shit about what i eat.
and at the same time, skinny puppy's 'the process' is one of the best albums to deadlift to.
so, that's where i am going. i still will be talking about boog, my life in general, but there's going to be a hell of a lot of talk about this new obsession of mine. i know it's a disappointment for some because i'm no longer the rockstar that got me all the internet notoriety in the first place.
this is my own personal evolution of choice, and i want to make that clear so you cannot blame me for pulling one over on you.
those that have honestly been looking will know that, deep down, i haven't changed at all. that's what matters.
