Autumn walked along the edge of the village, looking at the buildings for no apparent reasons. A few of the villagers walked past, waving and smiling as they went. Autumn just smiled back and kept wlaking slowly. She was going nowhere and getting there fast.
With a sigh, she closed her eyes and concentrated. A minute later, she opened her eyes and found herself in a much lower position, a tail swishing through the air behind her.
As a cat, she started in toward the center of the village. Out of boredom, she began to meow, wondering if anyone would even pay her any mind.
ooc: Figured some more interaction was in order ;) Any of ya'll can jump in.
Autumn looked down at the water as she silently strolled along the beach. The sun had nearly set, making the water glisten in shades of pink and orange. The only sounds around her being the crashing of the waves onto the shore, and the noises of animals from inside the jungle.
It was a peaceful night, nothing exciting happening. Autumn was just about to head back toward the village when she heard a more unfamiliar sound, a frantic thrashing and crashing about in the trees. There was a monstrous roar that made Autumn freeze, her eyes wide. The rustling from inside the jungle grew louder and louder.
Movement caught her eye, and Autumn watched as a large tiger stumbled out from behind a line of trees. She gasped as the cat collapsed onto the sand, blood matting its beautiful fur.
"Sean!" Autumn screamed, praying that he would hear her.
ooc: Anyone else can join this too :)
Four years ago, a Cessna plane crashed in the middle of the Pacific ocean. The crash was horrific, and only the two little children who were aboard, Sean and Autumn, survived. After a few hours of clinging helplessly to a piece of the desecrated plane, they found themselves washed onto the shore of a tropical island.
Exhausted, the two siblings laid down to sleep for the night, expecting little activity in their weary minds. Yet they were mistaken - information seeped through every crack it could, in a vivid dream form, the same way, at the same time, to both of them.
The images presented to them that night told them of their duty - to watch over the island and the inhabitants of it. The two children who had first been recoginzed in need had now been deemed the Guardians and awarded powers to enforce their leadership.
And now, four years later, the two that had originally needed, Sean, 19, and Autumn, 16, watch over the tiny group of humans and creatures that had been blessed with the ability to take refuge at the island.
No questions asked.
