Random stuff
Ooh! I wan I want I want that 'Fashion Knits S& Black Coral Mesh' fabric from JoAnn's mentioned at Padawabsguide! It would be so perfect for the Black Invasion Gown, which I have always wanted to make. Alas, JoAnn's don't ship overseas, and though my friend is staying at USA at the moment, I can't even find the fabric from their site. So blaah.

But I got the perfect fabric for the Packing Dress skirt. Stockmann put the leftovers of their Grazy Days fabrics back for sale, and they still got 8,5 metres of it, and I could not resist. So yay for that! I think I have to make the whole outfit again...

In other new, I finished my Ottoman outfit.

 

I used various sources, but this one was very good. The pattern for the salvar (i.e. trousers) can be found  here and the pattern for the gömlek (the undertunic) fro here.

The trousers are made of yellow raw silk, the undertunic from egyptian cotton. Fabric for the fitted underjacket was an amazing find from Stockamann (15 € per metre) and pure silk. The long coat, or the anteri is also silk.

Also, I finished my fairy outfit for good.



This picture makes me quite melancholic since after the picture was taken I cut 30 centimetres off my hair. I so regret it.

Now I will start making 18th century stays for me, and a 1850's corset for my friend.  I should have more than enough time now since all the entancy exams etc. are over.

Which reminds me. I gratuated from senior high school (or lukio, as we say it). Yay!
