I was weary of this mystical Starbuck idea at first...but after Katee's performance tonight: wowza, this is the best Starbuck storyline yet. Totally loving this.
Tigh is so awesome leading the Newbie Cylons. Actually, Tigh is awesome, period, because he gets to say awesome stuff like "She's as crazy as a rat in a latrine." Why isn't Michael Hogan in the opening credits?!
Baltar still seems to be selfless - this is like, unprecedented. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. He was so...nice...to Tory. He's got me wanting to join his little free-love cult. But Head!Baltar needs to go back where he belongs - it was funny at first, because Baltar reaching new levels of batshit crazy is always wonderful, but this was a little too weird: is he seeing Head!Baltar because he's...more in love with himself than Six? Wasn't that always the case?
Speaking of Six: gods, talk about underused. The writers really missed out doing something good with her and Baltar: they finally meet up on New Caprica and we get somber scenes of them just sitting, he goes with the cylons and they never get a moment alone because Xena is always crowding things, and then she comes aboard Galactica and doesn't even testify at his trial. W.T.Frack. Gaius + Six = gold, and it continues to be pissed away.
Sorry, I just had to let that out.
Is anyone else sick of Roslin (aside from you, celebrindal - I know you stand with me)? Don't get me wrong - I love Mary McConnell and this was the role she was born to play, but Roslin's mystical and authoritarian babblings are getting old and starting to creep me out.
Yay to Adama for sending Kara off on a mission! Although, sweet as his little "I'm doing this because I don't want to lose you" speech was, I don't see why he didn't just look at it from a simple risk/reward perspective: if Kara's wrong he loses a sanitation ship; if she's right they find Earth.
And did I hear right: Helo's going too? Who will be left to bring sanity to the fleet?
Anyone else spot Kara's drinking buddy Salty at Lee's party?
Poor Raiders getting lobotomized. :( That was upsetting. Of course, so was the Centurions slaughtering their bretheren.
Is this the first we've heard that Cavil is Model One? And wasn't Leoben originally a higher number? I want to say he was a Ten or an Eleven. I think there is some retconning going on here. *pulls out chart*
So we now currently have:
One - "Cavil"
Two - "Leoben"
Three - "D'anna"
Four - "Simon
Five -
Six - Six
Seven - ??
Eight - "Boomer"/"Sharon"
Nine - ??
Ten - ??
Eleven - ??
Twelve - ??
