i really liked beneath the wheel by hermann hesse. what about it didn't appeal as much to you?

i dunno, i had some trouble putting it all together in the end, although i did like the characters and i certainly understood how the kid "burnt out" after years of school. i didn't dislike it - just didn't like it as much as the other two Hesse books (and i was sorta getting carried away with all the underlining too - i had to draw a line) ;)

coutney love, you are amazing!! I can't believe you read so many- I am quite impressed, but not surprised i guess, you do read a lot. Miss you lots, and I will try to post again soon, and tell you more of my life right now.
