Magazine Ads: Why My Brain Needs an Ad Blocker

I'd buy more magazines if they weren't so cluttered with ads. Tonight I bought one and the first thing I did upon flipping through it was to systematically rip out all the ads I could without damaging the articles, which is a rather fruitless undertaking when you realize most pages have an ad on one side and legit articles on the other, or even ad on one side and two-thirds ad on the other.

Publisher's take note: since the gods have blessed the earth with Firefox Ad Blocker I can read a lot of articles online FOR FREE and WITHOUT ADS.

For now I'll have to settle for my old school ad blocker: a black marker and ripping out what few ads I can.
