Kim Kardashian Slammed For 'Stressful,' 'Dangerous' Dolphin Ride ...

video @ source

Kim Kardashian may be swimming in a pool of trouble. The 33-year-old reality star sparked outrage from animal rights advocates after posting a video of her and gal pal Kristen Gipson taking a dip with dolphins during a recent trip to Mexico. In the new video, Kim and Kristen each hang on to a dolphin's fin as they are pulled around a mid-sized pool.

"Double dophin ride with @kristennoelgipson," Kim captioned the post. "Thank you Vallarta Adventures for teaching us so much!"

And while little Nori doesn't appear in the video, it seems that the one-year-old interacted with the animals too. "Can't wait to show my daughter the pics of her swimming with dolphins & kissing a sea lion when she gets older! #ThanksForTheMemories #Mexico," Kim added.

Though there's no doubt both mother and daughter had a blast, not everyone is happy about this underwater adventure. "Kim is free to leave the pool, but for the dolphins, it's a lifetime sentence," PETA's Senior Vice President, Lisa Lange, explained in a statement, later noting, "Touch tanks and 'swim-with' programs allow the public to pet, kiss, or even 'ride' dolphins."

Rejoice, Michael Bay extends deal with Paramount

Michael Bay has extended his first-look deal with Paramount. The Transformers director has signed a three-year extension, and the deal has also been expanded to include another of his production companies, Bay Films, as well as Platinum Dune.

Bay said he feels like "part of the Paramount family" after working with the studio for the past five years. He signed his original deal in October 2009.

The director added: "There is a synergy there that feels different than any other place in Hollywood.

"From Brad Grey and Rob Moore, where my relationship goes back more than a decade, to my very good friend Adam Goodman, and to Philippe Dauman, who has put so much trust in me, and with the powerful marketing of Josh Greenstein and Megan Colligan, Paramount makes for a very comfortable place to work."

Jessica Chastain Featured in New Trailer for SALOME/WILD SALOME

A new trailer has arrived for 'Salomé'/'Wild Salomé', a documentary about making of the movie, "Wild Salomé," first screened at the Venice Film Festival in 2011, but now part of a double feature heading to UK theaters. Get a first look below!

Salomé: the Oscar Wilde play is set in the time of Jesus and is the story of Salomé (Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain appearing in her first movie role), a princess whose stepfather, King Herod (Pacino), drunkenly promises whatever she desires if she performs the erotically charged "Dance of the Seven Veils" for him. Her demand for the head of John the Baptist - the only man whom Herod fears - leaves the king in a terrible position.

Wilde Salomé: the documentary (directed by Pacino) takes us on a journey that focuses on his fascination and obsession for Wilde's work after seeing the play performed in London with Stephen Berkoff in the role that Pacino would go on to fill.

The double bill will screen in the UK on Sunday, September 21st hosted by Stephen Fry, in conversation with Pacino and Chastain. Chastain made her Broadway debut in The Heiress in 2012.

In June, Azealia Banks and T.I. got into another feud after the “212″ rapper dissed Tiny on Twitter. “U want no mediocre but … Have you seen your wife?” tweeted Banks.

Tiny shot back with some fiery words of her own. Read what she had to say below.

Zoe Saldana Has 10 Hidden Tattoos: "My Grandmother Says That I Look Like a Newspaper Naked"

Under all those fabulous and fashionable dresses, Zoe Saldana is sporting some serious ink!
During an appearance on Late Show last night, the 36-year-old actress revealed to David Letterman that she has "almost 10" hidden tattoos on various places of her body.

"I'm running out of private places to put them on," the mom-to-be joked. "My husband has more. His are more exposed."

"I am very proud to say I have assisted many friends and family, my sisters, to get tattoos," Saldana went on. "I get them drunk, I wine and dine them, I take them to the tattoo parlor, they come out with tattoos. The next day they're like, ‘What the hell happened?!'"

The Guardians of the Galaxy star added with a laugh, "My grandmother says that I look like a newspaper naked."

Saldana told a similar story to E! News when we caught up with her at the Hollywood premiere of Guardians.

"I can convince you of getting a tattoo in the worst place possible," she revealed. "I am very convincing. That's why I've always been sort of the bad influence out of all the girls in my family."

Sarah Hyland Picked to Cohost Teen Choice Awards 2014 With Teen Wolf Hunk Tyler Posey

000
Sarah Hyland gets to spend an entire day with Teen Wolf hunk Tyler Posey, and we are too jealous to even form words.
OK, we can form some more words to let you know why: The Modern Family star was just picked to co-host the 2014 Teen Choice Awards with Posey! That lucky girl.

Hyland, a Teen Choice Award nominee herself, will share hosting duties when the show airs on Aug. 10, and we're hoping she'll be able to keep her squealing to a minimum, because if we were in her shoes, we just wouldn't be able to contain ourselves. I mean, have you looked at Posey lately?!

In addition to announcing Hyland's new hosting position, a bunch of new stars are set to appear during the show, including Taylor Swift, Ansel Elgort, Victoria Justice, Collins Key, Laura and Vanessa Marano, Ian Somerhalder, Odeya Rush, Brenton Thwaites and Ariana Grande. So yeah, you definitely don't want to miss this year's show.

clearly, she's pregnant.

Is there a bat baby on the way?

Jennifer Garner sparked pregnancy rumors Thursday when she was photographed in Los Angeles sporting what appeared to be a growing bump while chatting on her cell phone.

This would be the fourth child for Garner and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star Ben Affleck.
The married pair of nine years welcomed their third, Samuel, two years ago joining daughters Violet, 8, and Seraphina, 5.

Affleck, 41, has been busy on set in Detroit playing the coveted role of Batman for the highly anticipated film, due out in 2016.

Garner, whose speculated bump has only surfaced in recent photos, has spent time with her other half in the Michigan area over the past few months.

The two made a surprise appearance at a child's birthday party at Detroit Kid City play center on Sunday, July 13 with their son and also celebrated their wedding anniversary at Bistro 82 in Royal Oak, Mich., in late June.

"They looked like a great couple. They paid a lot of attention to each other," an eyewitness told People magazine at the time.

A rep for Garner has yet to respond to the Daily News' request for comment.

Iggy Azalea Means Big Business for Brands

Two of summer’s biggest hits could lead to a $5 million year as branding deals and a revived House of Style rev up the female rapper.

Iggy Azalea has been dominating the summer, holding down the top two slots of Billboard’s Summer Songs chart for an uninterrupted nine weeks with “Fancy” and a guest spot on Ariana Grande’s “Problem.” A third single (“Black Widow,” featuring Rita Ora) and an appearance on mentor T.I.’s comeback single, “No Mediocre,” also are scaling the charts. But can she translate early radio ubiquity into a sustainable career? After all, for every summer breakout like Bruno Mars or Katy Perry, there’s a Carly Rae Jepsen or Gotye that can’t quite make that next leap.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo is adding executive producer to her résumé.

The Golden Globe nominee and People's Choice Award winner is teaming with ABC Family to adapt Rachel Carey's 2013 novel Debt, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Debt is a satire of the 2008 financial meltdown in New York. It follows Lillian, a woman in her 20s, who works as an SAT tutor with college loans and explores how everyone she knows — even her tutee's billionaire father — is in somebody's debt.

Pompeo will executive produce the drama, which is in the development stage. Debt hails from ABC Signature, ABC Studios' cable-focused boutique division banner. A writer is not yet attached.

Who Is the New Denzel? Hollywood Struggles to Launch Next Black Stars

000
Even before Chadwick Boseman finished shooting Universal's James Brown biopic Get on Up, out Aug. 1, he was approached to star in new projects as Sam Cooke, Richard Pryor and, in Ang Lee's planned boxing movie, Muhammad Ali. "I was like, 'No. I can't do that. Really?' " laughs Boseman, who last year fronted the Jackie Robinson baseball biopic 42. "That's too much."
That Boseman, 32, would be courted to anchor upcoming films about three African-American icons speaks to his talent and experience. But it also highlights a harsh reality in Hollywood: There aren't many choices. As the first generation of global black movie stars ages out of leading-man roles, the heirs apparent to Will Smith, 45; Denzel Washington, 59; and Eddie Murphy, 53, have not established themselves at the box office. "When you look at the landscape of up-and-coming talent, besides Chadwick and Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station), there really aren't a lot of names that come to mind, and that's an area of concern for us," says Gil Robertson, president of the African American Film Critics Association. "We haven't really done enough to cultivate the next generation. It's one thing to appear in a movie here or there, but it's another to really build a rich career."
Michael B. Jordan: "I want roles that Leonardo DiCaprio can’t shoot. I want roles that Ryan Gosling and Joseph Gordon-Levitt don’t have time to shoot. I want those roles."Collapse )
