i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find a wig in this exact style, but in red:

i found this wig in wigstylist's ebay store. i asked if he carried it in red and he said no.
i've checked both cosworx and amphigory. i can't find anything else like it! :( please let me know if you know of any other place that has something like it. i'm no good at styling wigs, so if i could buy it as is that would be great.

I'm usually pretty good at finding patterns.... but I'm failing at this. I accepted a commission for an outfit that Naoto Shirogane wears in Persona 4.... but I can't find a pattern for the hat.
You guys got any suggestions?

Hey guys!
This year I'm going to Cosplay at a local anime/videogame convention (ConnectiCon). I'm planning to go as Star Fox, as he's seen in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Here's an image for those of you who may be unfamiliar.
I'm looking for some advice on how to build his boots, his reflector, his head piece and his gun. I'm familiar with making mascot heads, and I don't think his outfit will be a problem. But any input at all on how materials to use would be very appreciated.

| Nana "Hachi" Wig? |

Hi! I'm planning on cosplaying Nana "Hachi" for KatsuCon in February, and have everything except the wig!! I'm not sure what style/color to go with. I'd prefer the anime/manga color and style, and was looking at the Monica or Sunny maybe from Cosworx (leaning more towards the Monica, and maybe adding some length depending on how long it is).
If anyone has any suggestions for color in either of these, or of a different wig from EBay and/or Amphigory, please let me know!! I'm open to suggestions. :)
Edit For the wig color, I'd like to lean more towards a reddish, and add some brown in with sharpies to achieve her hair color. Does anyone have any advice on this? Or should I just stick with a reddish brown wig (like 130 or 130A) and use that?

This coat was sewn in order to be tattered, so it's not got my best seam-work in places because I always intended for the white pieces to be something removable/replaceable if stained by stage-blood. Fortunately the blood washed out the first time I wore it, but I don't really feel like wearing the costume anymore.
I'm selling it cheap, and shipping is free. This is just the coat, not the hakama. It should fit around a bust size 38 (although I bound), but you could let out the seams in the sides just a little bit if neccessary (I pinned them in to take it in for myself later on).

alright, so i'm gonna be making a sword. Jin Kisaragi's sword from Blazblue, to be exact. i plan to make the sword out of wood, but i'm unsure of how to make the sheath or what to make it out of. any suggestions?

| Safe contacts and covering tattoos. |

Relatively new to cosplay, and I have two more complicated issues that I haven't yet run into:
1) SAFE cosplay contact lenses that do not require a prescription (and won't be uncomfortable for someone who is new to contacts). I'm going to talk to my eye doctor before buying anything, of course, and will practice wearing them for a month or so before the convention. So far I've found these but I'm not sure exactly what I should be watching out for. I'd like to keep the price under 125$, if possible, so these are pretty close to my limit. However, I know I probably won't find decent, safe ones for under 75$, so please just give me suggestions!
2) Covering tattoos? I have a tattoo exactly where Itachi's Anbu tatt is, and it is most definitely not an Anbu tatt. XD So I am looking for something that can not only cover a tattoo, but be stable/strong enough for me to draw a fake one over it. Basically, not something that can easily wipe off. Because of this, it's probably going to have to be some sort of professional drama cosmetic (again, probably expensive). Everything I've found says nothing about drawing over it (and most show pictures of someone's hair magically covering the make-up) Specific names of cosmetics would be great, and links/images, if possible.
And while I'm at it, has anyone ever cosplayed as Uchiha Itachi or Hatake Kakashi in ANBU wear? Preferably Itachi, as they're slightly different. If you have and are willing to answer a few questions for me, just post some of your photos. Thanks!

Hi!! I've been searching for a really cool styled L wig, but i haven't found it yet, i found some black short wigs, but they're not styled, and i'm so clumsy to style it by myself so. . .
I remember that somebody posted here, selling a L wig that was used for KHR cosplay, it's an old post, i think. . .
