Wow. I took the biggest action dump today. The turd was almost a foot long and 2-3 inches thick. It hurt like hell, my poor hemorrhoid. :( I was tempted to take a picture, but I decided against it.
And I was SO frightened that I'd clog the toilet. In my house, I'm known as the toilet clogger. I made a post here a couple months ago how the plumbing was backed up (including the showers) and my uncle had to plunge the toilet with my day old shit in it. hahahaha
I'm wondering now, what the hell am I going to do when I have a room mate? The bathroom smells like death right now. I'm afraid that whoever I live with will be disgusted by me and use my nasty habits as black mail or something.

| widumb tooth from hell; |
[12 May 2008|04:44am] |
i have a wisdom tooth growing in right now which KILLS every few days for a few hours when im trying to fall asleep. it's 4:45 am & ive been in bed since midnight. i dont have an appointment to see my dentist until friday, but i need quick fixes until then which do not include pills.
i just dabbed some almond extract on it & swished salt water (prior to the almond extract) & placed a piece of garlic clove on top of the tooth. one of those things worked, but im not sure which one or if it's was a combo of all 3. the garlic really burned so i took it off pretty quick.
any other never-fail toothache tricks?

| swag! late catch up! |
[21 Apr 2008|03:31pm] |
back in April on a fleamarket I bought one of these
for a mere 5,5 Euro1 ( asking price was 6 -- I offered the change I had )
Can you guess what molecule I built first ?

On experimenting with the thing I note that in cyclic organics as far as I know electrons are shared over the whole of a cycle so showing a double binding is a simplification.
- currently 1 euro is roughly 1.5 US$ ( more precise conversion at XE)
Original post as in my journal of April 21st amended
Edit:- black= carbon
- blue = nitrogen
- red = oxygen
- whitish balls = hydrogen

Anyone have any good methods for getting rid of a plugged ear? I have a horrible cold that keeps giving me new symptoms and the latest is a plugged ear. I can feel when I blow my nose that its close...and I don't want to risk hurting it by blowing it too hard...but frankly...its driving me bonkers!! Anyone have a safe(for the eardrum) solution to pop/make it stop? I know it will eventually stop, but on top of the cold from Hell, I just don't have the patience to *want* to wait it out.
TIA
ETA: sorry I didn't tag...its hard to get used to. Thanks to whoever did it!!

| Some of my lesser photographed cats |
[11 May 2008|11:43pm] |
Adolph, Cicero, and Daisy are the friendliest cats we have here at Chez Gatos, so they are often the most photographed, but I managed to get some of the lesser-known cats today. (Been posting a lot of cat pics lately - not sure why but I got 'em so I share 'em!)
Baby looks so startled. No idea what she was looking at, but not even the camera flash broke her freaked-out gaze.
( More of the shyer cats under here. )

oily |

Hey- I just moved to Vancouver Canada. It's humid here but not much sun light. After doing some online research yesterday I've discovered this is a winning combination for bad skin :( My current routine is to wash with ocean salt from lush, use tea tree toner from lush and then kiss my face cream. I have; however, discovered the nasties of lush and kiss my face and since I need to change what I'm doing anyways (to match this climate) I am wondering if anyone here lives in a similar climate and has any suggestions. I usually have a super dry t-zone and oily around my hair line.. if that helps.
Thanks!
ps. The products must be vegan. Thanks!

Friday I was at the doctors to treat what I thought was a spider bite. The lab results will be back tomorrow, the concern MRSA. My legs are swollen and walking causes considerable pain. I am house bound, but have friends that make grocery runs for me. For my troubles I have 2 antibiotics to take, which seem to be helping. If it is MRSA then I want to help my body clear this stuff as fast a possible. I know people that have had this stuff and have spent time in the hospital for IV drugs. If I don't work I don't get paid. No pay = no money for rent, etc.
I've started putting Manuka honey on the infected areas and have increased my consumption of apple cider vinegar to change the ph in my body.
Does anybody have suggestions as to what else I can do?
Thanks!

| Daisy's second chemo treatment |
[11 May 2008|11:25pm] |
Daisy's still holding her own. She's got a series of very small tumors along her scar line from surgery, but they haven't gotten much larger. She got her second chemo treatment on Friday. The vet said she was cranky, which is unusual, but her demeanor at home has been good. She's been tired, but overall, she's the same old Daisy. I got some pics of her today as I was cleaning up.
She really wishes I would just let her sleep without the flash going off.
Much later - she moved but the toy didn't.

Jamie Lynn Spears celebrates her motherhood-to-be at a special Mother’s Day service at a local church with fiance Casey Aldridge in Gloster, Mississippi on Sunday.
Their church, Galilee First Baptist Church, had a road sign that read, “HI MOM. HAVE A HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY”.
Casey’s mother and sister accompanied the soon-to-be teenage parents. After spending about an hour inside the church, the family hopped into Jamie Lynn’s Range Rover and grabbed lunch together.
Noticeably missing was Jamie Lynn’s own mother, Lynne.
