I don't usually do memes, but this one I had to after seeing it on 24fps's journal. Flickr plus memes plus boredom equal lots of love. I could only wish to take as pretty pictures as those I find on Flickr all the time. Here's to hoping I score a DSLR and some talent!!! Do this! It's fun! And easy!
The concept:

Before they take this down, I just can't believe it. My jaw dropped when I saw the entire thing, because haters, she's back. And from what I see, she seems to be in fabulous shape (read: nekkid. fully naked). Love the outfits, love the set, love the dancing!
I have to admit, I was a HUMONGOUS fan of hers, back when she was with Justin. And though she took a turn for the trainwreck variety, I still loved her album, Blackout. Her antics (including flashing her privates, flubbing at the VMAs and going nuts with an umbrella) may have gotten her tabloid covers; but I'm hoping this time around, her comeback is for real.
And with this music video, I don't see why not. Directed by Joseph Kahn (the same dude that made "Stronger" and "Toxic" -- two of my FAVORITE Britney videos), she obviously thought this one through. I cannot wait for more of Circus.
The last week of school was the 'hardest' to get through in a sense that I knew semestral break was just a few minutes away and yet I still had responsibilities to fulfill before I could enjoy that break. Also, this was the week that my immune system finally broke down on me. Tsk tsk. I'm disappointed.
Still, it was a pretty good week considering I got sick and was still able to accomplish what I needed so I could finally start semestral break. As of press time, I have 195 days left till graduation and still very very clueless as to what I want to do 'when I grow up.' Maybe, I should consult The Pussycat Dolls. They may have the answer.( Read more... )
i should be used to that by now, but somehow, you've gotten my hopes up again.
I rarely NEVER get sick. It takes a lot for me to get sick and be absent at that. (Un)lucky for me, I came down with a fever on my FIRST day of the semestral break. I know, my body played some sick joke on me. Great timing, really.
But, I couldn't be absent from anything (because I had NO class) and because I was scheduled for my 'personal appearance' at the Department of Foreign Affairs for my Visa Renewal. So alas, I had to drag my 'sick' body out of bed before 8am to go all the way to Manila for this. ( Read more... )
Yes folks, I'm a college senior already. I know my incoherent entries make me sound very immature and non-college-senior-ish, but unfortunately I am. And this means, YEARBOOK shiz. I'm already 11 days late for my write-up. Though, I have to say, in my defense, I was REALLY busy with school work that I didn't have time for this.Though I don't usually do this, I'll be asking for your help. I need two things from my wonderful friends.
Can you help with my Yearbook write-up? All you have to do is leave a comment (they'll be screened) below with this form...
And voila! you've helped me out! No need to be deep. It can be as silly (Patty is like a clown because she never frowns) and shallow (Patty is like a lake, because she's very shallow) as me! There, I've already gotten the ball rolling. But really, I plan on making like a dictionary definition of Patty for my write-up (I know, very original), but I need your help.
Can you help me pick a grad pic? The creative shots weren't out yet, for some reason, so the formal ones are the ones I've got to choose from. They don't really look all that different from each other, but I still need to pick one of each. So I'd love it if you could help me on this one. Thanks so much!
Again, just two things for me, and I would really really really appreciate it. Hopefully before Wednesday, because the gradpics are actually due tomorrow, but hey, it never hurt to ask (even if late). So comment away, I'll really need these)( Read more... )
Ralph: Ano magandang gift para sa debut? Karen: A top! Ralph: Ha? Top? As in yung laruan? Wala bang iba? Karen: Hindeeee! Hahahaha. Yung damit! Depends on the girl. Kelan ba yung debut? Ralph: Ah. Damit pala. Hahahaha.
Such a guy. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Today I went to Ateneo to fix my Hold Order (my parking violation). & some other things. Hahahaha. Since the car I drive is being fixed, my dad brought me to school. We went to Bo's & spent quality time together. I love coffee with dad! :)
In school, I was also able to see Nat Chu who I haven't seen or talked to for the longest time because we don't have similar classes. Hahahahaha. I hope I'll be able to go with my blockmates to our sembreak outing. I miss them all much much much. :)
...Oh, & I don't think I can go to the most awaited Guidon outing sa hacienda ni Anne Silva. Boohoo. Hope everyone will have fun though. :) Sorry, something important came up with an organization I plan to take care of (however I can) forever & ever (until I can). Lalalalalala.
Such a random entry. I really just wanted to share my messages with Ralph. HAHA. bye!
FUCK. FUCK. FUCK. FUCK. As if my incessant cursing will do something to help my situation.
This is the best day of my Life, I swear.
Wisdom tooth surgery.
Now I am in pain. I feel the swelling and the cut on my gum. I am hungry as Hell, but I cannot eat. My cheek is swelling, so my face is even rounder than it already is (even though I thought the odds of that happening were like zero to none since my face already looks like a full blown round plate on normal days). I look and feel like absolute SHIT. Oh, and I am hurting in solitude to make things all the better for me.

India Travels Community
Have you explored the subcontinent? From the heights of the Himalayas to the beaches of Kerala, India is so vast and varied that you'll discover something new wherever you go, no matter how many people have been there before. We've partnered with travel writer Ajay Jain of Kunzum to create a community where you can share your stories, anecdotes, and tips about traveling in India. What was the most amazing thing you saw? Where did you go that can't be found with a Google search? Where do you want to go next? Selected entries will be considered for publication (with full credit, and only if you give permission) in travel books about India. So whether you've been to India, want to go to India, or aspire to write about India, you should take a trip over to india_travels.
And More
There's lots of other stuff going on, too. See lj_releases to get all the details.
What could be better than an exemption from taking the Physiology finals?
WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
So why did I make the cut off, sir? is it because I was an efficient beadle or because you read the note in your cubicle informing you I had chicken pox? I was going remove that note actually but I left it hoping that you'd feel some sympathy for me...say, 4 letter grades up? haahaa
but then again, I'm the unfortunate one.
I still have to face Mr. Mariano for orals on monday. Fantastic!
There's also a field trip on monday and on wednesday.....
Yay! hhahahaa But I'll have to ask permission pa pala :P
This show looks so good, I feel like I'm entering a fondant cake whenever I watch it. And this week, it's a circus themed birthday cake with lots of make-up, clowns (who aren't as scary) and of course, the requisite mystery.
And because I'm probably the last person on earth to know this, I didn't know that Anna Friel (who plays Chuck) has a child and the dad is Remus LupinDavid Thewlis!!! Wow I didn't even know she was in a relationship I was still hoping she and Lee Pace could be together in real life. That's just the fangirl in me talking.( Read more... )
And my favorite zip code redeems itself this week from last week's very 7th Heaven-esque style. No offense meant, I love 7th Heaven (I watch it on marathon every Lenten season), but I came here for the drama and this week they sort of delivered.
Yes, 'we're not in Kansas anymore' and I finally see glimpses of the infamous zip and what they're notorious for (sex, drugs and horror movies?) But really, what a great way to show audiences that this show has some fighting spirit left in it, despite being cancelled in Australia (after 4 episodes!!!) ( Read more... )
It's official! I'm obsessed with Chuck! This show is not just funny, it's gotten me giddy all over and I just can't seem to get enough of Chuck-Sarah and even Chuck-Casey!!! And this week I get an added bonus in the form of Julie Cooper Melinda Clarke as the Black Widow (and no Chuck, it isn't because she's an African American who's husband's died).
I wasn't quite sure who John Larroquette was, but when he appeared on screen as 'the original 007' of spies, Roan Montgomery, I knew this episode was going to be fabulous. So can Chuck really learn the art of seduction to find the intersect? We'll see. ( Read more... )
“I am this close to finishing my first semester of my last year in college and I am already getting so lazy. I have two more requirements to finish -- that is the documentation video for my BC 130 class which is for our event last week and my Code of Ethics for my Communication 110 class due on Friday.
Thing is, I'm already so so sleepy and I really just want to curl up and lie on my bed, but no I can't because I have to finish editing this video and I really just want to finish it.
I actually just want to watch Chuck! My download just finished. Chuck Vs. The Seduction, but I can't because I have to finish editing!
Things is, I really wanted to start my Code of Ethics tonight -- and I saw one of my friend's Code of Ethics and it scares me cause I have nothing. I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do! So that sort of freaks me out.
Thing is, I'm already getting into a sem break mode but not really cause I still have two subjects to do. But I guess it's because the end of Tourism, and other subjects that just makes me wanna sleep all day.
The bad part is, my thesis won't allow me to just have a sembreak. My thesis adviser tasked us to finish our leg work -- our data gathering for our thesis by October, so that means no rest during the sembreak.
Anyway, I should get back to editing. I already took a break by updating my LJ. Argh, I cannot wait. I think I have 200 days before I graduate. Oh noes! So bye!!!”
This hamburger is as old as my little sister. Seriously. It's a grade six student in elementary. That's quality eh? But somehow, I am still an avid supporter of McDonalds and am suddenly craving some Cheeseburger Deluxe and Fries. [Best Wellness Consultant]
Who says endings have to be sad? Apparently, with the advent of 'divorce parties,' Divorce cakes are becoming more popular now. If Liz Taylor had a cake for every divorce she's had, she'd be as big... never mind. Celebrate the ending with a bang (hopefully not a shot at your ex though). [Eat Drink Or Die]
Sometimes, a lot is just too much. Some guy died of eating too much hot sauce -- an entire plate's worth at that. I mean I'm sure a little spice adds to life, but this is just wrong. Everything in moderation, folks. Now I'm really NOT going to go near spicy food. [Daily Mail]
Oh noes. You'd think Sarah Palin would do some good. Apparently, even a wine called 'Palin Syrah' took a blow to its sales ever since she got chosen as McCain's VP. It was the best selling wine until she got chosen. If that ain't a sign of the impending apocalypse, I don't know what is. [Serious Eats]
I know that breastfeeding is still best for babies, but mama I'm a grown up now! Sure, the melamine scare is freaking everyone out, but I'm not THAT desperate to consume milk products that I'll go and ingest breast-milk laden food. Not for me. [Telegraph]
There was a time when the large size of french fries was actually large. Large enough to be shared. Now the small size is tiny and the large was the small. Confusing? Yes, especially when I know I'm not getting my money's worth. Check out other products that have gotten smaller. [Consumerist]

You know those weeks when you know things can go terribly wrong? Well, last week was one of those weeks. With the impending launch for our BC 130 class project and things piling up on top of each other, I don't quite know how I actually made it through that day, but I'm just glad I got out of it -- still alive.
That doesn't mean I want to go through that hell and back again. I think once in my life was enough. Surprisingly, after Thursday, things weren't too bad. I've got 201 days left till graduation. And this week got me thinking -- I have no idea what the hell I want to do with myself after I graduate. So breathe. I'll tackle week 18 first. ( Read more... )
a split second later and i wouldn't have seen you at all this week -- coincidence fate much?
And the Pie Maker and his crew are back this season to solve another boatload of mysteries with his magical touch. But really, I love this show not only for Ned, but for the aww-inspiring lines the narrator always says, the no-touching-relationship that Chuck and Ned share and the jaw-dropping production design this show has. I swear, I love how this thing looks.
Too much eye candy in one episode. And the season premiere did not disappoint. Sure, it took a whole lot of concentration. I swear these people talk so fast, I have a hard time processing things. Or maybe it was because I was watching Betty La Fea at the same time. But really, even on mute, this show has enough visuals to make it stand on its own. ( Read more... )
This week, despite my ultra hectic and busy week, my tv shows are finally complete! Pushing Daisies and Chuck returned!!!! I never did get to recap season 1 of both shows, but it doesn't mean I didn't follow them religiously last year. And this fall season, I'm so happy they're back -- because really 9 episodes of Ned and 13 episodes of Chuck just isn't enough.
To say I loved this episode would be an understatement. It reminded me of why I followed this last season. There's just something about Josh Schwartz and the things he does. Bring it on, season 2! ( Read more... )
