Okay-
I'm in Chicago right now.
It's been nice being away from all the drama back home. I really don't even want to ever go home. Visting here has made me realize that maybe I DO want to live here. There's nothing for me in Iowa. Except a couple friends. But no real friends that I'd die without.

So last night we all went shopping, it was so hot outside though that we didn't stay long, cause the mall was one of those outside ones, the outlet malls. I hate those. SO we were outside almost the whole time, and lord I swear it was like 90 yesterday. So hot.

The only thing really annoying is the people around here, shoot off fireworks until like 12 every night, so it's like you can't get any real sleep.

Me, Ellie and Katie met some mexican guys out here. I LOVE mexican people. Except for some of the girls, cause they just give us bitchy looks. But the guys are awesome. My sisters mexican guy is Carlos. And mine is Alex. Ellie was going to hook up w/ a 13 year old, as a joke. Thank lord she didn't.

Anyway, so I'm home right now- while everyone else is at 6 Flags. I should have went. Even though I HATE rollercoasters, and that's all there is there, I still should have went. Cause now I'm home by myself for like 8 more hours. And I have no one to talk to.

OMG A WHITE PERSON..... just walked by. Wow, i've seen 2 white people here...

So, it's over. I'm offically done. Graduation was so sad. I don't think I'm quite ready for all of it to be over. I'm not ready for all the responsibilty. I'm still a kid. I'm not ready for college, and certainly not ready to grow up. I would do anything to go back to freshman, and just relive it all over. I did so many stupid things, so many things I regret. But, so many things I'm proud of also. Friends came and gone. I've grown so much since 9th grade year. It's amazing I've actually matured. Yeah, not quite mature enough. But nonetheless still matured.

So, time for me to grow up. College is definelty a huge step from high school. I just hope I'll do okay. I'm ready to get the rest of my life on the right path now. I'm ready to settle down and get married. Yeah, most 18 year old's aren't saying this now. But, honestly. I've lived a great life. In the next 5-6 years, I want to be married. And I want to be ready to have kids.

Life is so amazing. It's a shame so many people take it for granted. All I can say to you "younger people" is, don't give up on life. Things will get hard, but in the end it's all worth it. Trust me.
