Nearing the halfway point in this book and it’s not quite what I expected. The stories were a bit rushed and did not provide enough details for my taste. Like what the character felt at a particular moment or a series of events leading up to that moment. For me, the lack of descriptive actions and surroundings not only made a couple of the stories appear hurried, but also boring and unnecessary. Some storylines just cannot be hastened, there has to be a certain amount of description in order for the reader to really get into it. You have to be able to picture each situation in your head as if you were there as the story unfolded, that’s what fantasy is all about. And you cannot successfully achieve that if you are rushing to the finish line. However, Gettin' Buck Wild: Sex Chronicles II is still a good read both inside and outside of the bedroom.

Early this morning I was searching for reading material on Amazon.com until I got disgusted with getting that “Warning: This page has expired” error. I kept trying to figure out if somehow the firewall was causing me to get this error. Every other click yielded the same results causing me to refresh the page not once but twice in order to view my search results. I tolerated the error as long as I could before terminating my session; something definitely needs to be done about that. The second thing that irritated me was the obscene amount of people writing reviews on books they have never read. One guy has reviewed about 30+ books and hasn’t read any of them. And it’s no surprise that every one of his reviews were negative. He seemed to target mostly entertainers and authors that he deemed unworthy of the success they have achieved, who is he to make such assumptions? Now I am always going to be skeptical about every customer review I read, because of him and others like him.
Too much thought

I know I think too much. Sometimes I just cannot help myself though. If a person is supposed to call by 3 and doesn’t my mind instantly starts contemplating the reasons why they didn’t. And I always figure the worse before the positive. Stuff like maybe Xtc didn’t wanna talk to me or trying to remember if I said something to upset them last time we spoke. I tend to do that. Or if a person promises to do a favor and doesn’t follow through I wonder if they forgot by accident or forgot on purpose. While it could and has been said that I have trust issues, I deal with some shady individuals. Some are friends, family and internet buddies, all of them liars. Sure we forget stuff, that’s natural. But other times lying is lying. And the line has to be drawn somewhere. So the moral here, if you have no intention of keeping the promises you make, don’t make them.

Journal decisions

At the moment this journal is in limbo. It could be friends only or public. Then again I do not need the world knowing what lurks around in my head. So more likely than not this journal will be friends only with an occasional public entry.
