[Nov 17 2009 / 4:06pm] Can't believe my 14 no-work days is gone just like that. Within the 14days, I toured Japan and here I am, back in sunnyland. It's the usual don't-feel-like-working mood coming back to haunt, that always happens after going on leave isn't it? Only consolation, I'm departing for Manchester tonight, which I haven't visited in more than a year. Wee bit of excitement there, thinking about the sightseeing (which i hope finalizes) and shopping in Primark! I've to catch some winks now, it's gonna be a loooonnng flight there, and no, not as a passenger so I need energy to stay awake! Bye! smudges of tainted love

[Oct 29 2009 / 6:13pm] I'm not gone yet...just busy with flying around for long trips and recovering from feeling detached since I'm not home 3/4 month. I often get disheartened when I'm about to resize the photos or when photobucket fails me. AND the sudden insomnia I've been suffering since Houston is killing me, it's one of the worse ever feeling when you're just dying to sleep but can't sleep at all. Hate it, never wanted it. 5 days in Houston, with barely 7hours of sleep per day on average was crazy. Houston: How the interior looks All prepared to jet off with the rocket! ;) A real-sized rocket for our viewing purposes. Its omg-huge, like a plane. Thats only the tail-end you see. Ending off with a picture of yours truly looking so exhausted at NASA ; been there done that! Many more photos on fb. NASA isn't as boring as I thought it to be, just quite small. Learnt some new things and found certain sites to be so similar to our training ground. Shopping at Galleria, the shopping mall just a stone's throw away, that place is EVIL. Few trips there is sufficient for you to blow the half-to-entire allowance away... Moscow was freezing as usual..only on the last night we stepped out for dinner, and came back to drink/eat/chat, before 5 grown-up(s) us started playing "pepsi cola", yes, right, just outside the crewlounge infront of a video cam. How silly yet so enjoyable! Plus all the topics from ghost stories to horoscopes to movies and more before our paxing flight was just so fun. 10 days didn't feel that long after all. 1 more zurich flight to go before I'm on annual leave, my favourite time(s) of the year! Can't wait for my 4th holiday of 2009...which also means, last aalv for 09.   smudges of tainted love

pre-flight [Oct 10 2009 / 4:51pm] The feeling ; hoping that I don't have to leave on a 10days flight tonight, all alone, with nobody I know. I know can make new friends, but everything is different, they're not the same. In the midst of recovery from the flu makes things worse. This entire 10days thing doesn't feel quite right with the current mood of mine. Supposed to be looking forward and anticipating Houston yet its the reverse. Guess, it's one of the don't-feel-good days. Maybe after the nap, I'll wake up feeling refreshed and well enough to cheer myself up for work later! Need some self-motivation! PS: Moscow is turning so chilly when its only October! My luggage's gonna be sooooo packed! 2 smudges of tainted love

south africa [Oct 04 2009 / 11:59pm] Hello from my new found (cub)friend and I, with love from Johannesburg!   I'm so upset cause there isn't any of the "hug-a-cub" thing! Disappointing. But I did manage to see hyenas, cheetahs, zebras, antelopes, lions and more LIONS. smudges of tainted love
