Now my husband is from the south so he's got a bit of a twang. After 8 years living up here in NH, upcoming graduation from SNHU w/ his Buisness Finance Degree (My man made Deans list all 4 years!) and well his general "Yankee-fication" he's about 95% "Yankee-fied" but every once in a while his southern comes out...
*Last Night, While Watching The 11pm News Before Going To Bed*
-News Caster- "The young bombshell who has been identified as the former governor Eliot Spitzer's $4,300 date is a Jersey woman..."
-Husband, shaking his head @ tv- "Babe, ain't nooooo pussy in the world worth that, shiet" (pronounced sheeeet in his Memphis twang)
-Me- *just looking at him w/ a raised eyebrow*
-Husband, without missing a beat- "Well except yours, I mean $5,000 minimum |
