I know I haven't posted in a bajillion years! Sooo much going on, trying to prep for BazBiz. I spent all weekend in my jammies on the couch making jewelry. I'm sure our neighbors though I was insane pounding away with my dapping tools and steel stamps. Plus I hesitate to add this but we've been trying for a few months to get preggers and it ain't happenin. Of course me spending every free moment I have in my jammies hammering away at pieces of silver doesn't exactly say "come and get it big fella" but hey what isn't sexy about your wife wearing flannel gnome pj's and weilding a hammer and cordless drill?! Wouldn't you want to get with that?! |

If the Newsletter clearly states that the craft is for ages 4 and up that means "F-O-U-R and Older" Not 3 1/2 or "He'll be four in 6 weeks. I don't care if Junior is so damn crafty that he popped out of the womb sewing his own baby quilt and wearing a onsie he knit himself! (Sorry, raging PMS) |

| Dress-Up Time... |
[Mar. 26th, 2008|09:47 am] |

Hey Babes!!!
I need some help. I'm officially down 83lbs (about a size 12) and my man is graduation the middle of May so I need a dress for the big day. Nothing too dressy, but something cute, fun and a treat to myself for busting my ass and losing all this weight (only 30 more lbs to go till I hit my goal!)
Now even w/ all this weight loss I'm still super busty (36D to DD) and I don't want "the girls" out on parade so nuthin' too sexy/low/strappy. Any idea's on where I can find such a fabby thing? (Sarah, Shana, you guys are pro shoppers, and Megan I know you feel my pain in the "put the girls away" category!) |

| | amused | ] | Now my husband is from the south so he's got a bit of a twang. After 8 years living up here in NH, upcoming graduation from SNHU w/ his Buisness Finance Degree (My man made Deans list all 4 years!) and well his general "Yankee-fication" he's about 95% "Yankee-fied" but every once in a while his southern comes out...
*Last Night, While Watching The 11pm News Before Going To Bed*
-News Caster- "The young bombshell who has been identified as the former governor Eliot Spitzer's $4,300 date is a Jersey woman..."
-Husband, shaking his head @ tv- "Babe, ain't nooooo pussy in the world worth that, shiet" (pronounced sheeeet in his Memphis twang)
-Me- *just looking at him w/ a raised eyebrow*
-Husband, without missing a beat- "Well except yours, I mean $5,000 minimum |

This afternoon I get to go to the Ob-Gyn and ride the steel pony. Yippeeee, lucky me! I know your all jealous, but don't fret my pets, your time will come. The question is: would it be inappropriate to hop up onto the steel pony and shout out "Go Sea Biscuit, Go!"? Anything to make the trip more fun right? Sometimes being a girly seriously sucks monkey testicles :( Then to top off this gem of a day, I'm off to the seacoast to visit my most favorite person (aka: my grandfather) in the hospital. His gallbladder and pancreas are freaking out and they don't know why. Good times people, good times! |

The Thrill Is Gone... Question of the Day: Where did the romance go? The mystery, the intrigue? I know it's been 5 years, but, I'm sitting here all decked out in my snazzy pj pants, a holey old t-shirt and the piece de resistance... the ever sexy biore strip while Stud takes a pee with the door wide open all the while having a chat with the kitty who's sitting on the counter watching him in complete rapture. How did my life end up like this? I don't remember laying awake at night as a little girl dreaming about flannel jammies, acne fighters and a voyeuristic cat. What the hell happend here??? | Craftacular Outfit |
[Dec. 3rd, 2007|03:07 pm] |
Here's my official outfit for the Bust Holiday Craftacular this weekend. Yup it took about 2 weeks to put together (those are my actual glasses and earrings too!) I just need to whip up a necklace (something similar to this one but using the beads pictured I think, lots of earth-tone pearls, garnets, maybe some woven briolette flowers)

| | angry | ] | I was walking through the lobby @ work about an hour ago and saw "Shyness: How Normal Behavior Became a Sickness" on the new non-fiction shelf. So as a Social Anxiety Disorder sufferer I picked it up and trotted back to my desk excited about my find. (not many books out there on Social Phobia/Social Anxiety Disorder it's kind of a strange one to write about and not as "popular" as depression or OCD I guess) So, I'm flipping through reading this book and it's basically telling me that it's all a sham, there's no such thing as Social Anxiety Disorder. It's something the drug companies made up and it's all in my head. Yeah, kiss my ass. Tell that to... - My husband who after 8 years of marriage rarely hears me say his name in front of him - My co-workers who have to leave the room when I make phone calls to patrons - My parents who always wondered why I ran the water all. the. time. while in the bathroom - My sister, who loved to hear my dad sing and didn't understand why it made me shake and turn red - My mechanic who can't believe someone made it to age 28 without getting the oil changed in her car herself - My inlaws who get soooo pissed when we go out to a buffet place and my husband has to get my food - The girls @ my 14th b-day party who didn't understand why watching Grease embarrassed me so much
