last.fm, Increased Limits, Feedback Request, and India Travels [09 Oct 2008|04:00pm] news [theljstaff] Last.fm in Journal Entries Are you a last.fm user? The updated Music field on the Post an Entry page can now automatically fill in what you're listening to when you write the post. To enable this feature, fill in your last.fm username in the field under Contact Info on the Edit Profile page. This also adds a link to your last.fm profile on your LiveJournal Profile page. Then download the scrobbler client from last.fm. When it's installed, just click the Detect button by the Music field on the Post an Entry page and the scrobbler automatically pulls through the track information of what you're listening to on your music player or music program. You can also use the feature without downloading the scrobbler client. If you're logged in and listening to last.fm over the Internet, click Detect to pull through the artist and title of the track playing. If the song changes while you're writing your entry, just click Detect again to update the Music field. And for more musical accompaniment, last.fm also has a widget you can embed in your profile or a journal entry that displays what you're listening to in real time. Increased Limits for Poll Results and Comments Back in August we promised an increase in limits for poll results and comments. And now they're here. You can now view more than 2000 votes in the detailed view of poll results, and the limit for comments allowed for a post has been raised to 10,000, up from 5000. After the first 5000 comments, every comment will require a CAPTCHA. Feedback Request on New Find Your Friends Feature We're working on an optional feature that will make it easier for you to find out if existing friends in your web-based email contacts are LJ users. Once you find them, you'll be able to quickly add their journals to your Friends page. We know your privacy is very important to you, so we're interested in getting your feedback about this new feature. [04 Oct 2008|10:23am] highlighter36 [ mood | chill ] I dont know why girls pound themselves with make-up. If a guy doesnt like you, for whom you are, thats shallow.  I know Im an odd girl, but Im so pleased that I am. Girls now a days, are dumb. So are guys, but girls have that extra dumbness in them. I cant call Rayyy dumb though,he is also odd. We are both odd children, maybe thats why we get along with each other so well. Then again, Im not disappointed about our oddness, I love it that way. After this entry Im on my way to gym for the first time in two months. Im sick of complaining about how much weight I have gained. My goal is just to reach 121 or 120. Nothing less, I dont want to be looking like Nicole Richie or anything of that nature. I dont have to lose a lot of weight, just 7 or 8 pounds, but Im mostly going to gym to get toned as well. I also have made myself a healthy diet, which isnt bad. I really want to lose weight and be toned before by Thanksgiving, I will be proud of myself:]. Anyways, school is still there, but I still dont thik its right for me, but we will see what finally happens. I went to my psychitrasit almost 2 weeks ago, he is so cool. I felt like I was talkking to Rayyy, because I just talked and talked to him without thinking Im annoying him, like how I do with Rayyy lol. I just talk and talk and talk,:]. [02 Oct 2008|02:20pm] highlighter36 [ mood | wiittyy ] So, so, so, so....So? I'm finally a level 33 druid, with a mount and everything. I never thought I would make it this far. My parents should be proud of me,-sniff sniff-. I kill things on my own now, I know how to work my druid form, cat form and bear form. When I hit level 34 though, I think I get a lion form. Druids are the best characters in WoW. You can transform into so many things, I love it. I would get ridiculously bored if I had to stay in one form like all the other ones, what a bore! Comeon now. So, so, so, so, so....So? I might go to Disney World and hang with Micks and Pan, but Im quite unsure about this adventure. I mean, Rayyy and I are probably just going to stay for a day, no biggie, but still. I have the money now, it fell the sky this morning, so I have money now, but gee, shall I waste it on Disney World?..-thinks-..hell yea. Who wouldnt?! Im also comtemplating whether or not to pop a roll. Rayyy has three, should I? -thinks-..hell yea. Nah, just kIdding, Im still thinking about it. I mean the last time I rolled was on March 29th, its been a long while, I think. But then again, rolling is the best feeling ever and I feel normal when I roll, so Im in a huge pickle. Talking about drugs, last night I had a dream where I popped a stamp and 5 minutes into it I was getting scared, so I ran to Rayyys house but all of the sudden his house turned into a grey edifice. Then, I went inside and I wanted to get rid of the stamp so I decided to throw up, but I was throwing up bubbles. It was cute, it looked like something out of Winnie the Pooh. There was more to my dream, but you know what, I just dont want to elaborate on it. So, so, so, so, so...So? I started painting on canvas. I already painted 3 or 4 and Rayyy painted 1. I must say, Rayyy has some talent. He has cute talent. Everything he draws or paints has the cute factor...its cute, you know? Its pretty chilly up here, I must add. I have no more left to say, I will return when I do. | XXX )
