Okay, real me time. I'm an amateur writer trying to go pro, which is fine, and I live in New York, which is also fine. My wife, for whom I moved to New York, is also fine. Thank you for asking. ;p EDITED TO ADD: my impossibly patient and beautiful wife has recently given birth to our first child, William Henry, aka Liam, and a lot of my time is now taken up with learning how to be a father . . . and hopefully learning how to type my fiction projects one-handed while I hold him in the other arm in order to give my long-suffering wife a break. Stay tuned to this profile for more interesting developments.
This blog has evolved considerably over the past year, going from a record of my writing a novel (which has stalled but has not been abandoned), to being a diary of my day-to-day life (which it still is on occasion), to being what it is today: a sort of catch-all for my journal posts, silly links and videos, and anything else I happen to come up with.
As to my writing: my current project, Thorn Tree In the Garden, is being done as an online serial-fiction experiment. I'm trying (not always successfully) to post weekly installments, and using the project as a way to keep my writing fresh and interesting to me. Also, I figure if I have people asking me where the next post is i don't have an excuse to be lazy about my writing. ;)

NOTE: Thorn Tree In the Garden is on hiatus at the moment as I reconsider some plot elements and finish blocking the story, but it is soon to return. Announcements will be made at appropriate times.

My other main endeavor, which takes up far too much of my time, is submitting headlines to (and posting lame crap at) Fark.com, where I go by the nom du web of Cordwainer Deathbird. Don't ask.
