Nobody understood like you...they only see what's on the outside looking in.
One thing that I won't forget: the way you looked up with those wicked eyes.

Vegan. Progressive. Atheist.
I just graduated in August from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations.
I'm currently serving in a full-time AmeriCorps service (volunteer) position through an organization called City Year Los Angeles. I tutor the most adorable kids at an inner-city middle school and run an after-school progam.
I desperately want to travel the world. Eventually I want to work for an NGO (nongovernmental organization) like Human Rights Watch.
I genuinely appreciate diversity in the people around me, in terms of race/ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, country of origin, and pretty much anything else that makes you "different." Basically, if you would feel like an outsider living in a city where 98% of the people are white and Christian, be my friend! That's the kind of environment I grew up in and I hated it! That's so boring!
I follow politics and wholeheartedly believe Jon Stewart is the one saving grace in the midst of corporate news programs. I realize his show is not an actual news show, but it's a lot closer than Fox. I prefer reading the news anyway. If you really want to know what's going on, you have to seek the truth out, because it's more than likely not going to be in the mainstream news.
I am and probably always will be a diehard fan of the Buffalo Sabres.
Freshman year @ USC
Sophomore year @ Syracuse University
Junior year: back to USC
The grass is always greener...well, in the case of USC it's not even a metaphor.
I write a lot of public entries, but the best ones are friends-only.
