On June 11th there will be a gathering for people to come share memories of Folf. The format will be that of a celebration of who he was when he was with us. So bring those memories of Folf to talk to other people about, and write down in a journal/guestbook that will be provided. It is the best guess I can have at what he would have wanted. He believed that such customs were for the living, not the dead.

Food will be a potluck, so bring some along.

Flint kindly will let us abuse his house for this. (That is in the Calafornia bay area, in case you didn't know.)

Please RSVP to this thread so we can get an idea of just who will show up and so we can give you directions, and pass the word along to other people that knew him.

Most of the rest of my posts right now can be found here. That is where I am keeping my public journal. This is also syndicated on livejournal under the username whitefire_blog, however it seems to be broken at the moment. (waiting on LJ support.)

New web site

My website has been totally redone using Drupal, a neat little CMS. It took about an evening to get the basics setup, and another to import all my art into it's gallery.

Yes, it is utterly excessive for a homepage. I'm just using it as a platform to experiment with Drupal so that I can eventually redo fur.com's website with it, making it a real furry comunity portal.

If you know me, you probably know that I hate LiveJornal in general. So, why do I have one?

Because my boyfriend does, and I want to be able to read his.

Besides, this will give me a good chance to write up my "why LiveJornal is the worst communications medium on the net" rant. :)
