I'm the only non-Republican in my family. I got a Kerry/Edwards pin when I registered to vote, even though I didn't declare a party affiliation. I wore the pin on my purse, and a waiter started hitting on me when he saw it at dinner that night. My southern, Republican, "good ol' boy" cousin threatened to stab me with it. I always knew Mormons were violent.

I'm a fangirl. I'm not always the best or most involved fangirl, but trust me when I say that in the deep, dark, private corners of my heart, The Squee lives on.
