George W Bush has blocked his website to those outside to U.S:
http://www.georgewbush.com
From Australia, this gets me an "Unknown host" error.
A possible reasons that George W Bush might block his website to anyone outside the U.S is that he may not be aware that there is anything "outside the U.S".

Yesterday wasn't a complete wash out after all. I worked pretty hard from midday through till about 5:30 to get another 2000 words written. The relatively small amount I'm writing per day (I've written as much as 12,000 words in one sitting before) really does reflect the nature of what I'm writing. Last night I write one of the last scenes of actual dialogue between the main characters, which I hope is strangely tense. Then I spent a page or two discussing the fate of some of the characters. It's hard to fit an entire person's life into 3 paragraphs and have it actually have any effect.
Today, all I've got to do is write the last scene of the book and finish cleaning up the intro. I'll probably go grocery shopping sometime today with mum, so I dunno how my schedule is going to run today. I guess I'll just duck and weave and get this thing finished as soon as I can.
I went and spoke to mum about shopping, and on the way home I tripped on the back step and landed face first in the laundry. I really stacked it though: It was one of those "I don't know what just happened" things. I still don't know how I tripped. My foot slipped on the top stop. Then my legs just weren't there. Sore right knee and left palm of hand.

So I've penned the last line and put all 7 acts together in the first completed draft of the book. This is the time I've had a start, a middle, and an end to work this. This is, essentially, the book I've spent 3 years waiting for.
Though this is a personal mile-stone, it's actually not all that heart pounding an event. This is the first "complete" draft, but the draft itself is not complete. Much of the book is still as rough as raw guts and will need a lot of work before it's near presentable. Even after I whip it into a somewhat readable state, I'll need to get the draft to as many people as possible and then listen to their thoughts on the book so I can start improving the content and the defining the direction. In many ways this is just the beginning: I think the next process -- that of editing, improving, etc. -- will be the hardest. This is the part where everything needs to come together -- I'll need to make cuts on one hand, and work out what areas need fleshing out on the other.
For now I'm just happy to be sitting in front of something that somewhat resembles the final product. I'm sure I'll be a little more excited when I print it off tomorrow and have a physcial copy of it on my lap :)
The final word count: 95,841.
Just a few shy of the magic 100,000 words ;) Printed off, it will be 180 word-processed pages (that's at A4, 10pt, 1.5 spacing.) At the very least it'll make a great paper-weight :D
