just as an aside, this comic is about the petty quarrels you might find yourself accidentally indulging in, especially when technology is the simplest way to say mean stuff without facing a person (haha). but afterwards you'd realise it's the loneliest, most detached medium and yet we try to find connection through it. i paid homage to Adrian Tomine's Sleepwalk in the second panel. It is one of my favourite graphic novels- lonely, detached, painful, empty and banal, life. and yes, giving a heads up to makoto shinkai!! and The National song, "apartment story".

sigh, now remind me why i like to draw? that's pretty much my dream apartment. the living room is loosely based on one of the rooms in The Selby.

in other news... someone is going to be a part of my family... i'll take pictures when she is here!
this is the proudest and happiest moment in my life. i feel like a mother.
