Nicole Kidman is seen arriving at her sister’s home with her daughter Sunday Rose in Sydney, Australia on Sunday (December 20). As the 42-year-old Australian actress stepped out of her car, her niece and nephews ran to greet her with big smiles and hugs. Nicole said of her latest movie Nine that, “It’s an ensemble. The sensibility is different. It’s sexy and painful and sad. It runs the gamut of emotions. I’d call it a psychological musical.” “I just can never be away from [Sunday], so she comes wherever I go, as you see. Have baby, will travel. She’s OK (on planes), but honestly, we stay in Nashville a lot. That’s why I don’t work that much,” Nicole told USA Today.
The older Sunday gets, the more she looks just like Keith! Adorable!

| Britney Spears denies eating squirrels |

BRITNEY Spears has taken aim at some of the tabloid stories that dogged her through 2009, publishing a list of the top 75 articles deemed to be the most ridiculous.
A statement on Spears's official website said more than 13,000 stories had been written about the singer this year - and many were either "patently absurd or simply offensive".
"We ranked the ones we believe were the most ridiculous," the statement said, trumpeting the website's list of the "top 75 Bulls#it Britney Spears stories" of 2009.
Among the stories to make the list include a report from a London tabloid citing a new Spears biography which stated that the singer's family used to eat squirrel meat during her "trailer park childhood".
According to the Daily Star, the revelations had sent "sales of squirrel meat soaring" as fans "snapped up squirrel, rabbit and possum meat from butchers and restaurants".
Another item on the list - weighing in at 57th place - was Spears's addiction to "flower therapy", a system which uses plant essences to "balance physical and emotional disturbances".
Also on the list was a report from London's Evening Standard claiming that Spears had requested a stripper's pole to be installed at her suite in The Dorchester Hotel to help the singer stay in shape.
"Britney loves pole dancing, it is her new favorite workout," an unidentified source told the newspaper.
"She wants to be able to do it in the privacy of her own hotel room."
At number one was a January story from Britain's Daily Mirror revealing that Spears was dating Indian choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and that she had hosted a private New Year's Eve party to introduce him to her friends and parents.
Several of the stories near the top of the list related to Spears's recent troubled tour of Australia, including a November 7 story from the Herald Sun newspaper which revealed fans had walked out of a concert in Perth because of her lip-synching.
Despite quotes from several named fans unhappy at Spears's performance, promoters for the concert insisted that reports of a walkout were inaccurate.

Best Pop Album: Rihanna – Rated R – Well, color us corrected. When we first heard Rated R (via a record-label listening session, as with several other releases on this list), we gave it a B. Since then, the insidious pleasures of the Barbadian superstar’s dark, defiantly uncommercial fourth album have sucked us in entirely. From bursts of spiky aggression (Hard) and ragga-tinged rapture (Rude Boy) to moments of pure, naked vulnerability (the Justin Timberlake-penned heartbreak symphony Cold Case Love), it’s emerged a stealth stunner.

| Brittany Murphy's Husband: My World Is Destroyed |

Brittany Murphy's sudden death brought sharply different reactions from two men who loved her, as her husband expressed shock and sorrow while her half-brother angrily called her a victim of Hollywood.
Murphy, 32, was pronounced dead Sunday at the hospital. An autopsy has been completed, but a determination of the cause of death will await the results of toxicology tests in a few weeks. Officials say early indications suggest no foul play was involved.
"My world was destroyed yesterday," husband Simon Monjack, who was in the house at the time she was stricken and who watched as paramedics tried in vain to revive her, told Access Hollywood on Monday afternoon.

| Cameron says Avatar sequel won't be a prequel |

With all the talk of James Cameron turning the Avatar story into a trilogy, the popular director has noted that the next rumored installment will not be a prequel. If you are wanting to see how Sam Worthington’s character, Jake Sully, lost the use of his legs, you’re out of luck…and you’re sick.
Earlier this month Cameron talked about the proposed follow-ups to Avatar and commented on what the cost might look at for the production.
“…in terms of the pitch it was: OK, you’ve spent a lot of money on the first one; on the second one we’ll be able to amortize it [the CG assets] and focus on the story and all that … and they bought that,” says Cameron regarding the assets and technology that has already been produced for the first film. Having these in place would make follow-ups cheaper to make and could increase profit margins for the studio.
While speaking with MTV, Cameron stated that the next two movies would pick-up from where Avatar left off. “We’ll follow Jake and Neytiri [Zoe Saldana],” says Cameron. “I have a trilogy-scaled arc of story right now, but I haven’t really put any serious work into writing a script.”
But Cameron wants you to rest easy knowing that the next installment won't take another four years to make. Cameron explained, "Part of what we set out to do is create a world and create these characters. From the time we capture and finish the capture, it's literally nine to 10 months to get the CG characters working, to get their facial musculature working... So now we have Jake, we have Neytiri. Sam can step right back into it, the characters will fit them like a glove, and we'll just go on. So a lot of the start-up torque that had to be done for one movie really makes more sense if you play it out across several films."
James explained, "My next goal is to refine the technique, make it easier so it doesn't take as long. We were doing a lot of pioneering work on 'Avatar.' It wouldn't have taken as long if we already knew exactly how to do it."
Last month, Worthington spoke about more Avatar movies, saying he would “94 by the time [the trilogy] finishes.”

The 2009 Scot of the Year contest is a two-horse race, with songstress Susan Boyle facing stiff competition from the smoking hot and strapping action/romantic-com leading man Gerard Butler.
Though Butler has been on the scene for a few years, slaying his way with a sculpted six pack to stardom in '300' and then making the ladies swoon with turns in romantic comedies,Susan, as we all know, has gone from small town gal to globe trotting superstar singer in less than twelve months.
Scotscare, a charity based in London that offers advice and help to Scots living in the English capital, are running the poll to find out who is top of the Scots.
"We have a diverse range of contenders for this year's Scot of the Year title,” said ScotsCare's chief executive Willie Docherty "I look forward to seeing who the public feel has waved the flag for Scotland in the right direction."
Well, you can’t get more diverse than the dashing actor and the singing phenom. Who would you vote for? True, Gerard Butler is a dish, but Susan Boyle has made her village of Blackburn known all over the world, and this gutsy lady, whose performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” on “Britain’s Got Talent” has been watched over 120 million times online, should sweep up the Scot of the Year title to add to her growing list of accolades.

| Tom Cruise Sued for Allegedly Spying |

Tom Cruise is being sued for allegedly hiring a notorious P.I. to illegally wiretap a magazine editor's phone ... according to documents obtained by TMZ.
The plaintiff, Michael Davis Sapir, claims Cruise, attorney Bert Fields and jailed private investigator Anthony Pellicano conspired to spy on him.
There is a long history between Cruise and Sapir. In 2001, Cruise sued Sapir for $100 million after Sapir claimed to have video evidence that Cruise "engaged in a homosexual relationship." That lawsuit settled later that year. In the settlement, both parties issued a statement saying that no such tape existed.
In the latest suit, filed Friday in L.A. County Superior Court, Sapir claims Pellicano illegally wiretapped his phone during the time the 2001 lawsuit was active.
Sapir claims in the suit that Cruise, Fields and Pellicano were all in cahoots.
Sapir is suing for $5 million, minimum.
Bert Fields tells TMZ, "The allegations are absolute garbage. We did not even hire Pellicano to work on the Sapir case."
No immediate comment from Cruise's rep. Pellicano is in the pokey.

Jesse McCartney may have an obsession to work with American Idol and X Factor performers.
The 22-year-old musician, who has worked with Jordin Sparks and Leona Lewis in the past, wants to write some songs for Adam Lambert.
Jesse shared with MTV, “I feel like there’s so many people like trying to do that thing for him and it’s a little unfocused for me. But I think he’s amazing.”
So just what would he write for Adam? “Well listen, I love the whole sort of kind of glam-rock type thing, and nobody’s doing it. It’s something that fits him, his personality perfectly and he’s got the whole Queen thing going on, which is great, and he can pull it off. He’s badass at it. It would have to be consistent. I wouldn’t do anything too pop-ish, ’cause I don’t think it’s necessary,” he said.
Jesse also dished to MTV about former Summerland costar Zac Efron, and had nothing but kind words to the actor.
Jesse shared, “I actually ran into Zac like two weeks ago. We ran into each other. Literally we pulled into the parking spaces at the same time. We talked for a few minutes. Zac’s a great guy and I’m really happy for all the success. We worked together for two, three years on Summerland, and I remember when he came on the second season, he came on as a guest star and people were so impressed that they made him a star on the show.”
