BioHere's all-about-the-new-me!:
I'm twenty-four.
I'm from Maryland but I live in Virginia with my husband. He's pretty gay, not joking. I'm not sure how we ended up together but I'm glad we did.
I used to live with my ex of 5 years. He was emotionally and physically abusive and I'm glad that's over.
I have no regrets. Everything takes you to the place you are now.
I keep in regular touch with my parents. My sister is about to become a nurse, and is one of my best friends. My brother is off to Oklahoma to run track. I'm super proud of him.
I work as an ABA Therapist with autistic children. Basically, I do behavioral therapy in three-hours sessions in the child's home or school. This somewhat utilizes my degree in psychology. As well as anything will without a Masters, at least.
I just had our first child, Eva Micaela Yvette, on November 22, 2009 and she's gorgeous! She was born naturally at a birthing center after 52 hours of labor, including 5 hours of pushing. She weighed 5 lbs, 6 oz and was 19.5 inches long at birth.
