the drought

some of you may have heard on the news that kansas is experiencing a drought. for once, your weather man isn't lying to you. it feels so hot i think my skin is melting off. i'm going to have to carry around a bucket for melted flesh that may accidently 'slip off' during the brief periods of time that i'm outside.

i've made a goal. i've been ranting, raving, and whining for a laptop for years now, and i'm going to by myself one. that means two things: for one, i'll be eternally happy with my laptop (yes, that does include getting hitched in a small villiage someplace in africa), and you wont hear me begging for a computer younger than sasquash. (spelling?!)

overall: $43 current. goal: about $900. that's how much a good refurbished laptop is, i'm guessing.
