Pure Nerd
56 % Nerd, 34% Geek, 17% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Congratulations!

What a F'ing night!!! [05 Dec 2005|03:23am]
[ mood | confused ]
[ music | my overly buzzing brain... ]

Had an amazing oportunity tonight that didn't happen, then things went wierd.

Got some tickets to Comedy Central Last Laugh 2005 through my friend [info]lifeofreilly. Amazing list of comics. Unfortunatly I didn't understand that it was a cattle call, and after waiting two hours in a line outside was told that the theatre was full. A bummer to be sure. (My own fault, I should have known. It's Hollywood.) I felt worst for my friends who I had built there hopes up ,and unfortunatly felt (and still feel) like I let them down.

So we drive back down to hometown and I promise my friends that if they go to Chamber I'll buy them a round. things are going well. Having fun, Enjoying the music, friends, etc... and all of a sudden this guy walks up to me (shots will possibly be up on Drunk Rockers soon...I hope) and tells me that I spoke to his wife months ago at "Dungeon" and that if i do so again, he'll kick my ass. I politely ask him "Who is your wife so I don't talk to her. (I have no desire to offend anyone, or cause tension in any marriage.) He defines her as "goth, tall, pretty with tattoos"...??? What??? I try to explain that defines about every woman I know, and he tries to hit me. (right about now is where I must acknowledge that I have some of the greatest friends in the world. because two seconds after his first swing he's burried under 6-10 people ready to morgue his butt. Thank you Erin, Mariano, Adriana, Kim, and everyone else ready to beat his buns in protection of me.) So here we all are, he's swinging like a drunken beeatch (my sister hit harder at age five) I've got him pinned to the carpet, and everyone else is taking shots at him (simply beautiful...did I mention that I have the greatest friends ever...) when security runs in (thanks again Kim) pulls everyone off and ejects his sorry butt.

Apparently (thanks to a mutual friend) he's probably confusing me for someone else, as I don't think I have any idea who his wife is, (and even if I do, she's just a friend, and he needs to get over it) and I haven't been to dungeon in around 8 months. (yes, I know... I need to get out more, but drinks aint cheep and photographers are notoriously poor.)

At the end of the night, we all leave, and he's still outside, and trying to talk shit to my friends. The best and most quotable that came out of his mouth was to Lucien from Drunk Rockers "You don't know anything about the scene. Your wearing tennis shoes..." Everyone around (about 30-40 people) started laughing at him. It was kind of pathetic. Then my wonderfull friend Adriana comes out and he starts telling her that he's he's bringing his wife next week, and she's gonna kick Adriana's ass. (Adriana is one beautiful and amazing scrapper, but it was still funny. "My wife's gonna kick your butt."...kind of like "My Dad, can kick your Dad's ass..."). Adriana wonderfully puts him in his place, and he finally leaves dejected, and demoralized. (some people just shouldn't drink, or be in relationships, or leave the house, or...ahhh the list is too long...)

Honestly, in the end. I feel sorry for the guy. He's so insecure in his relationship that he has to challenge every guy who talks to his wife, and always feels that he needs to establish himself as a man to get over his inadequacies (apparently he's been getting into a lot of fights recently over this same subject). That's no way to live. He should feel secure that he and his wife are in love with each other, and that she's not going to leave him for someone like me. (Especially if I don't know who she is, and wasn't trying to do anything more than make conversation if I did.) It's just sad.

In the end, my only small worry is that if I go to any other club, he's gonna be there and try to take a cheep shot (that's the only way he could do any damage...seriously, his hits were that weak and inacurate.) at myself or one of my friends, and I/we would be kicked out on principle (don't worry, I'm still going out, and hopefully my friends are too). Getting kicked out would suck, not to mention be a total buzz kill.

I can't remember his name, but if anyone knows a tall, pretty married goth girl with tattoos (apparently named Alecia) please point her out to me, so I don't offend her marriage (although if she's with this guy, maybe it needs a good offence, but he'd probably take it out on her in the end).

So tonight on the fun scale 6 (out of ten) disapointment is a 9 and excitement is a 9.

Time to sleep now.

cool [01 Nov 2005|06:17am]
You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

Yup. Dat's me [19 Oct 2005|10:07pm]

Skinny and Cute

Raw score: 40% Big Breasts, 31% Big Ass, and 64% Cute!

Thanks for taking the T and A and C test! Based on your selections, the results are clear: you show an attraction to smaller breasts, smaller asses, and cuter composure than others who've taken the test.

Note that you scored low on both breast and ass size.
This means you appreciate thinner, harder bodies. You are most likely
to appreciate a super-model. Relatively, you are less attracted to
round, soft, sloppy women.

My third variable, "cuteness" is a mostly objective
measure of how innocent a given model looked. It's determined by a
combination of a lot of factors: lack of dark eye makeup, facial
expression, posture, etc. If you scored high on that variable, you are
either really nice OR you're into deflowering teens. If you scored low,
you are attracted to raunchier, sexier, women. In your case, your higher than average score suggests you appreciate a cuter, more innocent look. Kudos!

Recommended Celebrities: Jessica Alba, an absolute goddess, and Natalie Portman, if you can handle her acting.

Thanks to everyone for your assistance. I am soon to be the proud owner of a Canon 10D Dslr with Battery grip and 1gig mem card. Its' more than I wnated to spend, but It's stilla considerable savings. The Body usually goes for $750 to $800 and teh Grip for $150-$180 plus the gig card is $100 -$150 so I don't feel ripped off one bit.

It should be in my hot little hands next week. I can't wait.

Next comes a decent set of studio strobes, and a Hot Flash...but that's for later.

CALL IT BIOTCHES!!!!.....please.

My Dear friends,

Now is the time to make your voice heard. Once again the government is trying to strip certain citizens of inalienable rights that others freely have in our society. This is not a religion issue this is a freedom issue.

CA is so close to the passage of a same-sex marriage bill. All we need now
is the Governor's signature. Though he's threatened to veto it, he HASN'T
yet. We need to tell him that the people of CA are for legalizing same-sex
marriage.
So please call him! It only takes a few seconds.

Call his office at (916) 445-2841 and follow these
simple steps. (You don't even have to talk to anyone!)

1. Press "2" to comment on legislation

2. Press "1" to comment on AB 849 (AB 849 is the gender neutral bill that
will allow same-sex couples to marry)

3. Press "1" to support it</td></tr>

WHEWWW!!! [30 Aug 2005|06:32pm]
Well finally got word. My dad's O.K.. Power keeps going in and out, as well as the phone, but it was all just big wind. Hurricane Ivan treated him worse last year when it flooded to his door (5' off the ground), but this year things just got blown around.

That helps with one chunk of recent stress...hehe
