we went to san francisco on the last day to tourist and stopped by japan town and the babyssb store XD
the store was pretty, staff were nice (most reviews said a lot of girls were bitchy so i was lucky lol) and i got some shopping done XDDDD

scon ended and it was super awesome----i had so much fun XDDDDDD the shoots, groups and skit went great!

lately i have been trying to finish my scon costumes so i can spend more time on commissions, but you hime (nurarihyon no mago)'s kimono pattern is taking forever to paint OTL  10hrs of work and im only half done-----/wrist

a while back, my steam punkfriends asked for some meet-up activities, so i suggested we go to the roedde house museum (*u* )
there was enough ppl to rent it out, so we got to get really up-close to everything (aka nothing behind ropes) and it was amazing!!!!
it had to be a weekday, so i went to work and took a half-day off ("sick day"), ran to DT and changed XD;;; it was worth the effort tho lol

other ramblings happening in my life (that i can remember lol):

i worked canada day to take friday off, but i was the only one in the office 8D  i finished my work and went on pixiv to moe at the 800 terra e illustrations and doujinshi----omg so moe it set off my super-terra-moe-mode which occupied most of my long wknd OTL wasted so much time on soldier blue XD;;;;; 
but i worked on luka a bit, shopped in DT and made john watch arakawa under the bridge 8DDDD

which brings me to....ARAKAWA COSPLAY!!!!!  had a fangirl session with karen and rai 8D  we decided to do a big group for aki con---X3  SO EXCITED COME JOIN US!!!!

also my family bought a house---it's in vancouver (near boundary) and a lot closer to john + work (*u* )  i will be moving end of august----
my mom said i can have the basement suite XDDDDDD  i can finally get my sewing space back!!!!
looking fwd to unpacking all my boxes of pretty things X3  also buying a chandelier and a new canopy bed X3
i wanted to paint the walls pink, but my mom bought me gorgeous gold-toned wallpaper from laura ashley so im thinking of pairing it with wedgewood or marie antoinette blue X3
and with the bigger space, im thinking of getting a girl bunny friend for otome chan (fixed of course)...but then im afraid he will stop playing with me OTL  will ponder more XD;;;;

my performance review at work went well and i got a 5% raise + 7% RRSP contribution X3
the funny thing is, i apparently got a bigger raise last june...but no one told me LOL  
our main office changed their pay system right after i was hired, so we didnt get the pay stubs and i never calculated how much i was getting before taxes XD;;;;  so until they showed me the papers, i didnt know XD;;;;;; 
bad news is my co-worker is going to china for 3 weeks soon so i have to cover for her OTL  面倒くせえええーーー

my sister started working at japadog and she was on city tv this morning cuz no one else knew how to speak english lol

and now 4 off topic things:

(1) at the end of the month, i'm moving to the burnaby area temporarily, close to edmonds sky train and nikkei heritage center (yay hi-genki a short walk away 8D)  it'll be weird moving out of the coquitlam area (lived here for 16 years) but it'll be a nice change to be closer to john X3

(2) i bought two antique dolls to add to my doll collection X3
the lady selling it said she had a life-size doll but someone bought it...dammit OTL


(3) [cosplan] im 99% done with suigintou & aku no musume / meshitsukai rin X3 
this wknd im starting on madam red (ks) and alice cover art ver (pandora hearts). 
also hoping to finish up sandplay of the dragon ruka...i want to finish these by next friday...i'll try my best OTL  what did i get myself into?!?!? jk lol

(4) i bought a new laptop 8DDDD (acer 15.6 in. with intel core processor, it's suppose to be super fast )

my computers are both mai waifu soldier blue---8DDDDDD

on friday, i had a photoshoot in a museum!  we rented a victorian house 8DDDD  it was SO PRETTY!!!!
i havent shot in a pretty place like this since...victoria?!  it was epic X3  im still collecting photos from the photographers so will post something more coherent later

happy very late chinese new years / valentines---
john took an early flight home and came to see me cuz it's valentines 8D  except im awesome and forgot all about it and was making scon costumes lol    now i have lots of new wigs and pretty buttons 8DDDD  yay wigs----

i was interested in taxidermy so i was googling and came across the Historical Victorian Taxidermy site.  it's amazing, got me really hyped up XD
so i was excited when an exhibit came to the vancouver museum and went to see it with john (who was creeped out by the whole thing and me moe-ing XD;;;;)
it was quite interesting and i enjoyed learning more about the subject and seeing the exhibit up close X3  the "bottles" were my fav XD

* No animals were harmed for this exhibition. Most of the taxidermy was collected between late 1800-1950s for the museum.  i do not support animal cruelty.

yesterday night i met up with jingie, cheryl, karen, pangu and hanna to see what olympic downtown looked like...it was crazy (0A0 )
today im meeting a university friend after work X3  she said she's looking fwd to seeing me out of lolita clothes XD;;;;
back to work i guess---

yay my coworker is back from her vacation XD im the least experienced but i had to cover for the exec secretary OTL  it was so stressful (=A= )  still, it's really really busy so im tired by the end of the day OTL  but it goes by so fast and usually im complaining i have nothing to do so i should be happy XD;;;;;

since im so tired, i spent the long weekend mostly relaxing at home with john and reading books X3 (anne of green gables + little house series)
i found out the library near my house has all the dvd of little house on the praries---8DDDDD  i've been meaning to buy it since i love it so much, but now i can just borrow it X3  it makes me so warm and bubbly watching it lol
also had a zetsubou sensei shoot + fondue party sat----XD  i'll post on it once im done with the photos X3

busy---i had offers to go have tea with tamie, attend a local tea party, see john and feed bunnies today, but i stayed home to send job applications (+A+;; )  suuuucks----OTL
but my tutoring hours increased again, i started driving lessons and got references for my ubc BEd application (which were so hard to get OTL) so it's not all bad XD;;;;;
i stayed at john's house mon - thurs because of all that, so i just want to hermit at home too lol

i didnt go out this wknd, but i went out last wknd with jocy, jessie, tamie and karen for tea at the wedgewood hotel XD

next week shall be more tutoring, driving lessons, picking up reference reports, seeing career advisors, sending ubc application and attending a career event---fun...OTL

i havent cosplayed or sewn in over a month...i feel horrible XD;;;;;;

packing for hawaii was sooooo easy---less than 5 min and one really small trunk XD;;; (the little alice in wonderland one lol)
i forgot how easy it is to pack without costumes and lolita XD;;;;  (con = one huge ass suitcase + couple of small ones lol)
i'll be gone for a week (11th - 18th).  i will have internet, but it's not wireless so i'll see how it is X3

last part of our victoria trip X3  then i will stop flooding ur f-list  XD;;;;;

on new year's day, we went to the levee at the lieutenant governor's house :3  this is one of the few times that the house is open to the public so it was a great opportunity!

id like to go again in the spring or early fall so we can see the flowers and avoid the rain lol
for next time, i want to stay in the empress or a cute b&b, visit more gardens, go for afternoon tea and eat at the empress hotel XD

today was really fun (or more like funny) hanging out with tifa and john XD
tifa and i were just being huge retards as usual XD;;;  (making moe barbie dolls, searching for digimon toys, purikura with pocky up our nose, epic card games etc)  XD;;;;;
but more on that later---gotta finish up victoria stuff X3

on the 3rd day, john, karen, jingie, tony and i went to a castle in victoria ^ ^  it was sooooooo pretty---(*A* )

i cosplayed lycoris from doku hime (princess poison) and karen cosplayed from "shitsuji sama no okiniiri" (i think)

on the 4th day, we found a school called SOUTH PARK SCHOOL XDDDDD
so we went there for photos and later to the empress hotel again

too bad we couldnt cosplay south park there, but jingie wore ranka, karen wore ciel and i wore lolita :3
