| sakura con 2013 unfortunately didnt go too well for me (;w; ) i had fun, but there were loooots of little bad things that kept happening OTL but bf and friends were extra amazing to make up for it X3 so i'll omit most of the bad things----sorry if it's a bit choppy XD;;;; scon this year was referred to as SAOkura-con, it had a few sword art online related guests so the con was a sea of kirito and asuna cosplayers. but all of my cosplays were magi so it was a magi-con for me lol  ( PRE CONCollapse )
 
( DAY 1 - MAGI POSTCARD / DEFAULT SINDRIACollapse )as my last post (back in feb lol), i'm going to japan this friday so day 2 report will most likely come after im back in mid-end May. i also went to fan expo last weekend (cosplayed misaka mikoto 8D) so hopefully i can blog about that later too----X3 i got both afternoon and evening tickets to the anime magi event so im really looking fwd to that X3 will report back about it + the other magi doujin events!!! | |

| AE (Anime Evolution) came back this year up at SFU and surprisingly, it was enjoyable (I know, surprise! lol) i missed halloween this year due to being sick in bed so this was my halloween lol it was fun hanging with everyone 8D it was nice how the artist alley and vendors were close to each other. Some of my friends are in dealers and some have artist tables, so it was nice how we didn’t have to travel across the con to see them lol (but the artists who had tables away from the dealer’s in the AQ seemed to have slow traffic...) But a big thing we all hated was how the dealer’s smelled horrible OTL since it was across many small rooms, the smell got really bad…couldn’t stay inside without sticking our heads out the window XD;;;;  ( AE day 1 - ja'far (magi)Collapse )i now have 7 magi costumes to sew...(=w=;; ) 3 for myself and 4 for other ppl.../cuz-i-clearly-value-magi-more-tha n-my-sanity spent over $500+ on materials already and im not done buying fabric OTL haha..ha...OTL i need most of them done before scon so already courage wolf-ing OTL | |

|  ( anime revolution - feyris nyan nyan (steins;gate)Collapse )there is a strike at work and they're picketing my building so i've been having a lovely time off this week 8DDDDDD (it's not my union that's striking, but im part of another union so not allowed to cross the picket line = cant go into work...oh darns lol) taking advantage of this rare opportunity by going to diff places for lunch XDDDDDDD so many choices when im not stuck on campus----XDDDD didnt really like 1st ep of magi, but op wasnt as horrible as i expected XD;;; (could have been arabic and lot more epic but so much better than the ed song OTL). but it's still 1st ep so not judging it yet-----lol i just cant see/hear Ono D as sin sama...that mini clip sounded pretty damn awful OTL REALLY hoping he does a better job / it'll sound better once it's animated OTL | |

|  ( 7/21 - sfu summer festival - miku ~ koi iro byoutou (love colored ward) ver Collapse )omg is sept really ending? i just thought august ended XD;;;; magi anime starting soon and the seiyuu cast will be announced this week!!! i dont have high hopes for the anime; not really liking the visuals or news released/leaked (;w; ) on an unrelated note, our basement (which includes my sewing room and bedroom) flooded so i've been living at my bf's for about a week now (;w; ) it's work > go home to eat dinner and talk with mom > go to john's house to derp and sleep XD;;;; it's quite inconvenient cuz most of my things are in storage OTL so glad cosplay season ended!!!! i hope i get my stuff back soon (;w; ) | |
