Hi,
just a few lines: thanks for all the support about the last entry I did about people being rude etc.
I think we should just go back to normal. Dont jump at people if they go with the "lj-cut" comment, I will just delete those. And, for the girl with the "F**king lj-cut thing"- i deleted her.
Its really nice to see how supportive you members are, Im touched. I dont want the users to fight against each other so I think we all go back to the basics now: I handle the comments (if I miss anything feel free to sent me notes) and mod stuff and you go back to posting your awesome rooms :)

Hey guys, my name is Steph and I'm from Calgary, AB. I recently graduated from University and am working as a Clinical RA at a local hospital. I also just moved back home because, you know, the rent is free and my parents are big sweeties :) I've been living on my own since I was 17, so it's a bit of an adjustment, and I really wanted to make my room "my" space (well, mine and my dog Teddy's) and be a really calming space. Which is HARD, because I have so much stuff, I could cram every corner full if I wanted. Anyway, I've done the best I can to be minimalistic and I think the trick will just be maintaining it!  ( our room! ) |

Hope this post is allowed here. I moved back home in July and my walls are STILL bare except for a simple black and white photo of the beatles. Can you please show me your favorite artist and/or painting? All of the painters I'm interested in only sell their work to galleries and/or is very expensive and I'm cheap, lol. I will be ordering Salvador Dali's "Elephants" soon. Thanks guys! |

Japanese Dorm Room Hello, I thought I'd delurk and post something! I just moved into my new place, and then realised I never posted my last dorm room up. anyways i've moved to a dorm at my college, and have a roomate,
but we have known each other for 18 years & graduated together!
i love it (:
it's only 20 minutes away from my house and about half an hour away from hers,
but it's so much more fun living here!

my master bedroom makeover plan! hi , i'm sharon, 22, live in New York City and still live at home. not sure for how long but im still in school and applying for grad so it might be awhile. i'm in the process of re-doing my entire room. my parents have been pushing my to get new furniture for YEARS and my bed is about to split in half (its a longg story but you can get your laughs in now pervs :p) and alot of the handles on my dresser have broke or snapped off completely so its time i find new stuff NOW! and i was thinking this would be a great time to repaint my room. its been almost 10 years since i moved in this house.
take a look at my current situation. i know with some paint & brain power i could make my room GREAT but i need bucketloads 'o HALP! :[[
heres some furniture i like. i KNOW its youth but i cant seem to find anything else that isnt completely not plain & boring :[[ any furniture or decoration websites/suggestions could be greatly appreciated :]

I haven't posted in a while, but I've moved again! It's not all as cohesive as I'd like yet, so I've only posted what I consider to be the highlights. It's a big place, much much bigger than my old apartment and I've got two bedrooms instead of one! For now I'm using one room solely as my sleeping room and the other is filled with pets, clothes / shoes, and loads and loads of fabric. My style ranges from punk to goth to mid century modern and the atomic 50s. Enjoy what you see! ( whispering voices summoning screams )X-Posted! |

Futons!
Hi! Text only, sorry.
I was wondering if anybody out there had any futons? Or just, really low beds? Not like, just mattresses on the floor or anything. Pictures would be nice.
Also, if anybody has had any sleeping experiences on an actual futon? I'd like to know.

my name is kara and i'm 20 years old living in the great state of texas in the us of a! long time lurker blah blah blahhh. i am now in my junior year in college, finally living off-campus with my two best friends and my cousin in a cute little house!
i finally, after two months, have gotten around to hanging 95% of my crap and did some cleaning today, so i figured -- what the heck, why not pictures?? they might be a little out of order... i tried to fix them but i got <s>a little</s> lazy after a while. enjoyyy to the best of your ability!

Cd organisation help - Found! Quite a while ago someone posted a room where they had taken all of their cd's out of the cases and just filed the cd's with inserts into boxes.
