hello, i went to warped today and i watched tai (well, from backstage) and they were great. i have one picture of william being mobbed through a fence which i thought was kind of funny, so i thought i'd post it here.

whenever he would walk in a certain direction girls would run along with him on the other side of the fence, and a bunch of girls that WERE backstage followed him all the way back to his bus after he said he couldn't take pictures anymore. lol. poor guy.
i got to talk to each member for a bit and got pictures with all of them after their set. they were all extremely nice, as usual.
so yeah, this is kind of pointless, but...they were great!

So I guess I should have listened to Gabe and not giving the fucker attention. I just don't understand some people. If I tell you over four years ago I don't want to be friends ever again and you try saying sorry and I say too little too late maybe you should think to yourself oh I guess she doesn't want to be friends. Why would I want to be friends with someone who basically took advantage of me and used me for fours years of my life. Why I ask you Why? You make no sense! I know you're not trying to make a move or anything, but what's the point of being friends when I already told you forget about it. Four years ago I told you! And when I did tell you that I really wanted to scream in your face how much of a fucking douche bag you were to me and how you should really learn to treat women with respect. It doesn't even look like you treat your current girlfriend with respect, but it also looks like she doesn't respect herself much either. Well I've got news for you, I respect myself now and I wish you would respect me and my wishes. STOP FUCKING ACTING LIKE YOU'RE STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL & GROW UP! I've got news for you I'm not the same person I was when we were friends and I never will be that person again. Just get out of my life!

I'm going to update on my 2008 Comic Con experience in the next few days... but for now, just be jealous of these.
Anton Yelchin is my 2nd favorite actor (#1 being Jamie Bell) and I am sooooo in love with him. He signed my Charlie Bartlett DVD too and got really excited when I pulled it out.
Milo Ventimiglia *cue fangirl squees*. I am actually not in love with him like 90% of the female population. Yes, during this, I was preoccupied by the fact that Hayden Panettiere was in the same vacinity. Focus on the yellow blob above my head... yeah, that's Hayden. Note my "Hayden is my Hero" shirt. She saw it and gave the guy a thumbs up to give me a free shirt. "Here, this is from Hayden and Milo for your shirt". Yeah, be jealous! I'm going to marry her. She just doesn't know it yet.

Today was Day Three of Comic-Con International in San Diego. It was also Gerard Way Day, at least for me! I have a full report of the day over at my journal, as well as SURPRISE CAMEOS by Mikey Way, Alicia, Lyn-Z, AND Andy Hurley from Fall Out Boy!

People never cease to amaze me... or atleast their stupidity never ceases to amaze me.
I am selling a ticket stub from the 2006 Teen Choice Awards on Ebay... and although it clearly states in the auction description that it is from 2006 and is not a ticket to the 2008 show, people have the bidding up to $152. Lik WTFFFF people. Watch, you will win the auction then throw a fit that I cheated you. I even added numerous notes in LARGE HUGE BOLDED RED LETTERS that it is NOT a ticket to this year's show. Wow... idiots! I swear!
On a lighter note... I met Corey Feldman and Rain haha along with a bunch of other people... including Tad Hilgenbrinck who is adorable! Haha I got a signed Lost Boys: The Tribe poster... but Corey wrote my name on it so I won't be selling that haha but I did get a few signed comics and a Ninja Assassins poster signed that I can sell.
ALSO! Most importantly, Sirbrina from A Shot at Love 2 loved San Diego so much when she visited that she is 90% sure she is moving out here. Even better, I replied to her moving announcement on myspace since she said she was looking for a job and place to stay and she replied back to me... haha apparently, I will be acting as her San Diego guru when she has questions. Yessssss. Sooooo in love with her. Damn age difference.

First, the video. It's just two little excerpts of Snakes on A Plane, featuring William and Travis, shot from the back of the stage. I had a new camera, purchased because I expected to be standing a LOOONG way away and NOT the back of the stage - and I didn't know it well enough to get it to stop refocusing... URGH. ANYWAY
The question - can someone point me to the ticket exchange community - if there is one? I seem to have purchased all-access passes for an exorbitant sum of money (yeah, it was for charity, but STILL) and I desperately need to sell my original tickets. I think they're all spoken for except for the 2 for Indianapolis.

I just got off the phone with one of my friends who's at a drive-in movie theater and just met Sisky's mom.
She didn't know it was her, or Baby, and went up to her and was petting him and she asked his mom something along the lines of "Isn't he afraid of all these people?" and she said "Nah, he was on stage at the Vans Warped Tour!" My friend was like "Really?!" and she was like "Yeah, my son plays bass for one of the bands on the tour!" My friend asked her which band, and she told her Academy. My friend told her she loves them and his mom got this huge smile on her face and then went in her car and got her a pick! Hahahaha.
Pretty random, but I thought it was cute. :D

i wasnt really sure where i should ask and i figured since the main reason im going to warped is for tai, why not ask here?
soo...how do i know when tai is playing? is there a schedule i can get online tonight of the time that theyre playing or do they hand something out when i get there? another thing, is it impossible to meet them on this tour? ive met them on SwG but my best friend never has and i really want her to.
im sorry if people are bothered by this post, if anyone can help me out id really really really appreciate it.

In this week's issue of Kerrang!, rock legend Alice Cooper was interviewed about his upcoming shows in London and Southampton. When asked "How do you manage to attract new fans after more than 30 years?" He answered:
"You know, I think it's just because of the strength of the songs that Alice Cooper has. I see kids nowadays that are more into classic rock than their own generation, and I think it's because band's nowadays don't write those classics. There isn't a new 'Smoke On The Water,' or even a new 'School's Out.' The only band's that have come close in my opinion are band's like The White Stripe's and My Chemical Romance."
Now, to have Alice Cooper, rock legend, compliment My Chem is an honour XD
So many people criticise My Chem for their style of music or their publicity, but if Alice Cooper can see they're good, they must be doing something right (Y)

"I remember being in the parking lot of a movie theater, crammed into the back of Vinnie's [Avarali, guitarist] Volkswagen and listening to the basis of something amazing," remembers Frank Iero, who was so wowed by Leathermouth's all-instrumental early demos that he literally willed himself into the noisy new Jersey hardcore band after another vocalist's audition fell through. Nevermind that Iero had another, slightly bigger group gaining momentum at the time: Between writing sessions for The Black Parade, the My Chemical Romance guitarist found time to practice, gig and demo new tunes with Leathermouth, who managed to keep their identity relatively guarded as their sound and lineup came together. "I originally wanted to keep Leathermouth anonymous," says Iero, "But playing live, it's hard to keep the secret unless you wear masks, and I wasn't into that--too hot. So I figured fuck it, let's not hide from something we life doing this much." The band's touring lineup includes guitarists Ed Auletta and Rob Hughes, bassist John McGuire, and MCR/Reggie and the Full Effect's own James Dewees on drums.. (Original members Avarali, Steve Oyola and Andrew Escobar have since formed a full-time band, March of Saints.)
Thanks to Iero's day job and a steady trickle of online buzz, Leathermouth have become one of punk rock's worst-kept secrets. Although you'd think the band's sound--rooted as it is in the black-hearted noise and nihilism of bands like Black Flag and Ink & Dagger--would've turned off more MCR fans than it's attracted. "Leathermouth is where I can vent about all the bullshit that makes me crazy," admits Iero, who adds that he's always been leery of promoting the band as an MCR offshoot. "Every emotion I'm not proud to feel, every situation that goes on in the day and age that we wish we could just bury. I like to sing words that make moms cover their babies' ears."
Leathermouth's first official album--a sweltering, lo-fi collection recorded over two years in a series of New York and New Jersey basements--has been in the can for months. Despite rumors of a (more than appropriate) Halloween '08 release on Iero's Skeleton Key label, he says he's still looking for the perfect home. "It just made sense to sign my band to my label at first," he says, "but then I thought about it, and I realized I hate promoting myself." Regardless of how or when Leathermouth's music makes it into stores, Iero plans to hit the road hard during MCR's current hiatus, starting this fall opening for Reggie and the Full Effect. Any fans expecting Leathermouth's live-and-lewd noise to carry over into The Black Parade's sequel probably shouldn't get their hopes up.
"There's no thought of MCR at all when writing Leathermouth songs," Iero explains. "Sometimes it's fun to throw everything you've done in the past out the window and just scream your guts out about setting girls on fire."

Hey everyone =]
I have a question but i'unno if it should go here or 'taihelp' so whatever. In the last chorus of "Down and Out" when William sings "dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak", there's a backup voice that sort of sounds like ... dunno but I'm fairly sure there's the word "stutter" in there somewhere.
Who sings that part? Is it William and they just put it in there for the recording or is it someone else? Who sings parts like that when they perform live? I hope you know what I mean, I just re-read it to myself so I hope it does make sense.

I just wrote a great, to the point post, that was not at all one-sided and was pointing out the communities strong points in a time of anger and unrest to bring a positive light to these topics everyone seems to be easily triggered by.
However, my shitty computer froze and closed my page moments before I would've finished the post.
So, rejoice! You can all keep being negative. LOL
So, on a negative note:
I'm pissed I can't go to warped tour in NYC on Saturday.
That may seem ungrateful, considering I went to the Orlando and Tampa warped tour shows already, but in Orlando, TAI cancelled their signing I'd been waiting around all day for, and in Tampa I missed the SLH m&g with only 9 other people there. WOW fail. Oh well, nothing I can do.
Anyway, so who here is actually full on stoked for FTABH and likes the new songs?
I know not many of you. Haha! Just Kidding.
(I really don't mean that in a rude way, I just know there are some concerns about certain parts of the songs...)
I guess I should say, Is anyone else excited for FTABH with out a doubt?
It seems like every way I say it seems rude... WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

So I had so much fun today. I arrived at Darien Lake at around 9:00 am and waited to get in until 11:00. I checked out the stages and set times and immediately ran to the main stage. The Bronx played first. Cobra Starship played second (they were wonderful) During Snakes on a Plane William and Travie came out. That was awesome. I was right against the barricade. Then The Academy Is... came out. I was so ecstatic. I was in the front row, right in front of Michael Guy and William. ( read more... )<3

Hanna Beth is NOT IN THE ABOUT A GIRL VIDEO. Fact.
I'm only doing this because maybe it'll make you lot give them a chance to prove themselves to you.
I work on Warped Tour and I see them nearly every day. They knew me as a fan first, and usually I wouldn't be on here posting about every conversation with the guys, because I'm not the type of person to do that any more. But I asked Bill if I could post this so you will shut up about it. I was hanging out with Travis from WTK and Bill wanders up and at one point I asked him how LA was. He said it was great etc that the video was going to be awesome, and Travis asked 'hey is it really Hanna Beth in it?!' and William was all: 'No!! No. She's in like.. one viral internet video thing. For like two seconds.' - I know Hanna has made a huge deal of this, but unless you want to believe that William lied straight not only to my face, but to the face of one of his good friends, who asked him the question.. whatever.
He was not exactly the happiest I have ever seen him and we had fun bitching out certain communities that exist purely to hate and make fun of things they claim to be a fan of.
I don't know. There you go. No Hanna Beth. Be excited, the album is so great and comes from such a beautiful idea.

Okay, so, I know you guys all are going to want to throw like, 50,000 daggers at my face for this but just here me out.. I have lurked this community for sooooooooooooo long & it's killing me to see how TAI's getting treated. What ever happened to us being fucking true fans? Honestly, asking William about his baby, about anything that has to do with their family or personal lives? That's so stupid! Yah, we're all curious about it, but leave it alone. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but think about how they must feel if they lurk this? Knowing how much all of us are hating on the new record because of 2 songs? We haven't even heard the whole album yet. & sure, you may not like the new album, but no need to go on saying how disappointed you are in them for making such a shitty record. They're trying & they've done so much for us, and we're treating them like this in return?
So..... if you ask me, i'm here for the long run, i'm here no matter what happens, no matter who has a fucking baby, no matter how shitty all you ''true'' fans think the new stuff is, no matter how big and mainstream their fan base/music gets, no matter how many teenyboppers come along. I'll be here to the end.
Now, i'm basically ready to get bashed on the interwebs, but really, think about what's been going on lately.
