best bday ever.

yesterday adam suggested that maybe, after we all graduate, we could fly to europe and go touristing for a week or so!
me, him, and a few other friends. nikki and sarah and spencer.
it'll be my first time going to europe. fucking awesome, man. i hope adam can work everything out; that'll give me something to look foward to for the rest of the year.

i swear.

this week has been a good one; mon. was a snow day so i got up at 6:30 and while i was blowdrying my hair my mom came in and told me there wouldn't be any school. so i just changed back into my pajamas and got back into bed. i woke up later around 12, and spent the rest of the day with spencer and nikki going sledding and talking to fat goths that lurk in shopping malls!

adam gave me his jacket and i haven't taken it off all week (i know, i sound cheesy but the whole concept of it is fucking beautiful), my little sister keeps talking about this boy who she wants to make her valentine (it's so adorable, they're only 9 years old), aaaaand yesterday afternoon i shaved my legs. after letting it go for almost three weeks. it's wintertime so i don't think anyone is going to see my legs anytime soon, plus i'm really lazy. god i am fucking gross.

and i hate finals. good night.

oh from now on i think i'll disable comments on most of my entries. it's not like i ever did a good job commenting in YOUR journals (and that probably won't change anytime soon), but i'm definitely still keeping up with your lives, as i've stated many times before and i promise i won't state again!

EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE HAS THE STOMACH FLU! except for me! and it's kind of scary, and sucky because i now need to be a nurse to everyone.

also- it snowed yesterday! last year was pretty dry but this winter the weather is absolutely perfect. a very happy birthday to lauren; tonight we're going to trudge through the snow at midnight when it's freezing cold and find good horror movies to keep us up until 3 or 4 or 5 in the am. i love the weekend :)

boo. i should make it a resolution to update this thing more. but i'm still here, i promise. :)

last night was spent sitting on the curb with nikki smoking cigarettes and setting off party poppers. nothing too special, but it was probably the best new years eve i've had in a while. tomorrow or maybe later today i'll be driving down to see adam, for a nice way to spend the last two days of winter break.

anyways, i'm going to try to stick around more, and i hope you all have a wonderful year, loves!

I'm getting my grandmother's car since she's unable to drive anymore.

I don't care if it's like fifteen years old, I'm finally getting a car of my own. No more carpooling with friends or borrowing my dad's.

I went and saw Garden State for the second time this morning. It is simply the funniest, most beautifully touching film I have seen in a long time, and I'm urging you to see it now, if you haven't already. The music was incorporated so perfectly into the movie, and the scene at the airport moved me to tears. Zach Braff is amazing.

Uhm. Whoa. I really should write in this thing more often. I think about a billion people cut me, but oh well, it's my fault for not updating. :/

From now on I'm going to make my entries public because I don't update very often, and I really have nothing to hide. Not anymore, at least.

School started on Tuesday. This year I'm taking Japanese 3, Sociology, English 4, Calc AB, Econ/Govt., & Physics. It's only been a few days but I think I've had enough of school already. Oh man, it's scary thinking that I only have one year left before I'm out of here. I'm still not 100% sure about what I'm going to do after I graduate, and now it's gotten to the point where it's just incredibly overwhelming. Oh shit son.

My cousins from Florida have been staying here for the past week, just to escape Hurricane Frances. And I hear a third one is on the way? Wow. I'm pretty happy to be living in California; about the worst we get is earthquakes, and those only come about once every 9345834985 years.

My friends list has been reduced from 83 to 31. Awesome.

Warped Tour was on Wednesday. I didn't really care for the line-up this year, but I decided to go anyways. I watched Bad Religion, Anti-Flag, Eighteen Visions, Alkaline Trio, NOFX, The Sounds, Rise Against, Bouncing Souls, The Casualties, The Matches, Guttermouth, and some other bands. I can't remember. I got some stuff signed by Rise Against and Fat Mike, and I was able to meet the Bouncing Souls and Matt Skiba. So, it was pretty fun for the most part.

Quite a lot has happened since my last update, but I won't go into detail. I have a wonderful new boyfriend named Adam, and I'm going to be a senior next year. While I was doing a "clean up" of this journal, I took time to read through all my old entries from last summer. It really is amazing how much I've changed over the year. I seemed so obnoxious back then. Haha, oh well.

I'm not going to update again until after the 27th, because tomorrow I'm leaving for Florida. I might go see a show down there, who knows. See you guys. ♥
