This is true of any species, including the human.

This is proven. Every species in the community of life is subject this this law, and also to it's inversion; given a declining food supply, every population will decrease, no matter what other circumstances that exist in the situation. It doesn't matter if fertility rates are falling in the human species, our population will continue to rise as long as our food supply also continues to rise.

If you doubt, proclaiming that this just can't possibly be true, all i ask for you to do is check the figures.

Are there more of us today then there were yesterday ? Yes, there are.

Are there more people alive today then there were last month ? Of course the answer is yes. Millions are born everyday, and our population keeps rising and rising.

It's not a matter of contraception to lead to falling birth rates. It's not a matter of abstinence, because although if people did stop having sex then babies wouldn't be born, a simple fact is that people will have sex, and they will have sex because they always have had sex, because that's how they ensure the survival of the species, and their genes, and they can ensure their survival because there is a sufficient food supply to encourage this.

No food, no population growth.

No food, a population decline.

But if there is an expanding availability of the food supply, there will always be a very apparent, easily discernible population growth. Sustainable population growth.
