Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess...

I stunned her ass and stole her shoes.

And I must say, that fairy godmother did a good job on them. My feet are very happy.

Merry Christmas to me!

The hair on the back of her neck stood up as she felt recognizable eyes on her. She scanned the room and spotted exactly who she had hoped she would see. A smile lit up her face when her eyes lowered to the cup of hot chocolate.

Tracey headed over to his table and sat down. She picked up the cup and blew into the contents to cool it off.

"Thank you. I appreciate it."
"No need to thank me, Miss Davis," he said, taking a sip of his coffee, Watching her over the top of the mug.
"Tracey," She corrected him after taking a sip. You'd think after years of friendship and shagging and love and all those other whatnots he'd have stopped with the Miss Davis nonsense.

"So what's new? I haven't seen you in a while. I've missed you."
He ignored her correction, but allowed a small grin. "I've missed you as well, of course."
"Always with the evasion..."

Tracey took another sip and smirked at him over the rim of her mug.
ooc: How long are we saying it's been for them? I feel like it wouldn't have been that long since they're obviously on good terms. We need to discuss what's between them! lol

"Not always."
"Well then answer the question. What have you been doing since I saw you last?" Tracey asked again.

Her hot chocolate was finally cool enough to drink. It warmed her up from her head to her toes. Merlin, she loved this stuff.
"School work - sneaking potions from the storerooms since they won't let me take them out without being in any of the more advanced classes." Miles hated having to complete all of his general education courses before being allowed to attend Medical classes. "Experimenting a bit more on my medicines."

He grinned again at her as she enjoyed the hot chocolate. It was kind of cute the way she reacted to the drink.
In a way she reacted to hot chocolate the way she reacted to alcohol, but without the intoxication that led to less clothing. A win-win situation, if you asked her.

"Leave it to you to figure out how to sneak out potions ingredients," She said with a small laugh, putting the cup down and her hands over it to let the heat warm her cold hands.

"What are you trying to make this time with your medicines? And please don't tell me that you are experimenting on yourself again."
"I'm certainly not going to try them out on anyone else," he reasoned. "It's not even anything new. Just a few start-ups from Hogwarts that I'm making more efficient - better ingredients here."
"We'll let's just hope you haven't given yourself some contagious side effect. Wouldn't want to catch that." She said with a smirk.

"I think I've decided I don't want to be anything. I can't figure out why exactly I'm still going to random classes. You're lucky you've always known what you want to be."
