*comes in from a pretty uneventful evening drinking at the pub with Steve*

Hello you. Have a good night out?

Nah, it was pretty dull. Nobody pissed on Steve. XD

*snickers*

Aww. That's a pity. So no abuse from the peasants then?

None to speak of, just some redheaded kid giving me funny looks. He's going to end up on the menu down the road if he keeps that up.

*raises an eyebrow*

Redhead? Chances are it's a Feanorian.

*snorts* They're not making Feanorians like they use to then.

The younger generations aren't quite as battle-hardened. And some of the seven sons were turned into girls.

*sniggers* They deserve it.

In fact... almost all of them have been female at some point. Still doesn't make them any less violent when provoked though. Especially that Caranthire bitch.

I always knew females were much nastier than males. ;)

It's the inner bitch. When harnessed properly it can be a fiendish force to be reckoned with.

Ain't it the truth. *lights a cigarette and offers you one*

So.

Pretty quiet around here? I see Glaurung hasn't reduced the place to rubble while I was out.

[info]_thuringwethil

July 31 2005, 10:34:48 UTC 6 years ago

*takes the cigarette with a smile*

Oh, pretty much. Glaurung's quieted down a little, Lisse's out with her zombie, and Sauron's probably jacking off like mad to the PlayMaia channel on the palantir.

Well good. *stretches out his legs* I don't really need another scene right now.

July 31 2005, 12:56:05 UTC 6 years ago

You and me both. It's actually quiet for once and I'm enjoying the novelty of it.

Drink?

[info]black_ancalagon

July 31 2005, 13:27:41 UTC 6 years ago

Please.

Do the Valar bother you much here?

[info]_thuringwethil

July 31 2005, 13:29:32 UTC 6 years ago

*gets up and finds a bottle of wine*

This do? Or do you want something stronger.

As for the Valar... they tend to leave us alone so long as we don't meddle too much.

In fact, I'm surprised they haven't come raging over the zombie thing.

July 31 2005, 13:36:03 UTC 6 years ago

That's fine.

Heh. Give them time.

July 31 2005, 13:37:32 UTC 6 years ago

*gets a pair of glasses and pours out the wine*

*hands you your glass and sits back down*

Oh, probably. All the more reason to enjoy the quiet before the carnage.

I kind of like that 'calm before the storm' feeling. The edginess of it.

July 31 2005, 13:44:31 UTC 6 years ago

*sips her drink and smiles*

So do I, truth be told. Although parenting makes you appreciate the overall quiet.

*tightens his lips*

How about if we don't talk about parents, hm?
