Here are several unrelated thoughts while I wait for someone to upload the season premiere of The Office.
On Kanye West:

On Cat Sweaters:
I had no idea Lalla Ward (that's Romana II, for those of you who have yet to digivolve into a full-fledged Doctor Who Wikipedia-ing geek) made awesome cat sweaters. Some distant part of me sees that secret and reads the text and is like, "oh, irrational disdain for an actress because she ~dared~ play a character you don't like, how I've missed thee!", but mostly I look at it and I see OH MY GOD, HILARIOUS CAT SWEATER. Seriously, check that out. Lalla Ward, you rockstar.
So now I think there should be a Dwangela Office fic where Dwight finds this in Angela's house and fangirls Romana for a while. If this exists, let me know.
On Fanfiction:
I'm sure this is not news to anyone, but it just sort of dawned on me recently that there seems to be this notion that fanfic is serious business, and this is clearly false. Okay, so some fic is better than others. Some of them are original and thought-provoking and show a deep reflection on the characters/situations/relationships/them
WHO CARES? It seems like the longer I'm in fandom -- and it's been a while now -- the more "ORLY?" I feel about ~crusades~ for constructive criticism and ENDNIG CLICHES!!! and teaching those poor, naive fools the proper! way of writing Doctor/Aslan slash. I admit to being as guilty of this as the next person a few years ago, but now I just feel an incredible sense of facepalm and "OMFG, WHO CARES, IT IS FANFICTION" towards it all. If someone wants to write some horrible script-fic where Cloen gives birth through his mouth and then stars on Hannah Montana, more power to them. I'm still going to laugh at it, but I'm not going to call them out on it because flaming -- and negative reviews in general -- are just stupid. I'm also not going to start some secret treehouse specifically designed to exclude them because their execution of their nerdy hobby does not match my nerdy hobby standards. This is why I hate Teaspoon's submission process, and why I generally resent any archive with that sort of set-up in the first place.

IF I SHOULD AT ANY POINT LOOK SAD ABOUT LEAVING YOU BEHIND REST ASSURED I AM ONLY THINKING ABOUT HOW MUCH I RESENT YOU FOR SINGLEHANDEDLY BRINGING BACK DAVROS, BREAKING DONNA'S BRAIN AND KILLING IANTO."
